The Paphos District
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a picturesque harbour and marina with plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town of Paphos. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. Paphos is on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage list.
Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.
Peyia area
The development is set on the hillside within the picturesque village of Peyia with the heart of the village only a 5 minute walk away. Full of atmosphere, Peyia offers several coffee shops, supermarkets and a variety of quaint taverns for all tastes. Peyia provides residents with a warm welcome and a real taste of Cyprus while being only a few miles from the blue flag beach resort of Coral Bay, which boasts the best beaches in this unspoilt corner of the country.

Cheap flights are available daily via easyjet.co.uk from Gatwick or Manchester
Peyia is situated 20km from Paphos airport and 4km from the spectacular Coral Bay Sandy Beach resort.
Taxis are readily available at the airport and should cost no more than €20 although car hire is recommended. europecar.com is competative and reliable, journey time is approx 30min from airport to Peyia.
