Apartment Acropolis is a brand new and very spacious two bedroom apartment in the heart of the pretty and very popular village of Peyia, just 3kms from the famous sandy beach at Coral Bay.
This contemporary air conditioned two bedroom apartment has been stylishly furnished for a very comfortable self catering holiday for up to four guests. The large open plan lounge dining area has a very contemporary corner sofa, TV and DVD. The Paphos District
With an all year round Mediterranean climate Paphos is very popular with visitors from Europs looking for a cosmopolitan holiday resort. Paphos is most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, historical sites, a beautiful old harbour, its modern hotels and restaurants, situated along the harbour front promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paulas Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty).
The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas. Paphos offers shopping in the tourist beach promenade and the old town area of Kato Paphos has a wonderful old covered market area to browse around.
In addition to the wonderful choice of beaches and all year sunshine Paphos offers families a fantastic choice of modern or traditional restaurants, and many things to do and see, from water parks, to go carting, Golf to Luxury spas there is something for all ages to enjoy.
Peyia area
Peyia is a very popular and charming village situated on a gently sloping hillside overlooking Coral Bay. It is very traditional in look and feel with little winding streets and traditional stone houses with an old village church and shops at the centre. Peyia offers visitors a good selection of amenities including banks, doctors, two supermarkets, a fantastic bakery, butchers, fishmongers, DVD shop and launderette. It also offers a good selection of traditional tavernas where you can try the local fish or meat meze, or you can try Chloes that offers themed food evenings throughout the week.

We had a wonderful holiday in Apartment Acropolis, it is beutifully furnished and in a great location to explore the local area which has so much to see and do. You can walk into the centre of the village through very pretty windy streets to a good selection of tavernas and the local Meze is great value.
