The Paphos District
Paphos is said to be one of the most beautiful places in Cyprus, a world heritage site that successfully combines rich ancient history with a thriving modern tourist resort.
For those who like culture there is plenty to see in and around the Paphos District which has many archaeological sites and places of historical significance. The fort in the town centre has a pretty little harbour with plenty of open air cafes and bars, which makes an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by. Boat trips leave from Paphos and there are watersports, water and bird parks in the area. Jeep safaris and go-karting are available locally and the municipal market in the old town is well worth a visit. For the more adventerous boat trips to Egypt and the Holyland and day flights to Egypt are available.
Peyia / Peyia Village area
Peyia is a small village set in an elevated position some 20 minutes to the North of Paphos. Set in the hills behind Coral Bay, Peyia is renowned for its tranquility and spectacular sunsets. It has excellent local facilities including banks, tavernas, doctors surgery and an excellent range of local shops where you will be able to buy everything you need for your day to day needs.
Peyia borders onto the wonderfully unspoilt Akamas National Park, where you will find miles of beautiful countryside and deserted beaches, yet is within a five minute drive of Coral Bay with its blue flag beach, watersports, shops and tavernas. A wide range of activities are available nearby including golf, tennis and horse riding. Watersports are available at Coral Bay and Latchi and there are three championship golf courses within a 40 minute drive (Tsada, Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills).
Peyia is surrounded by spectacular scenery and charming traditional villages. Paphos is within a 20 minute drive, or if you prefer discover the delights of Latchi with its charming harbour and excellent restaurants where you can relax, soak up the sun and sample the catch of the day...
How to get there
Paphos airport is approximately 20 kilometres away and it takes about 35 minutes to drive to the apartment. Flights into Paphos are available from all major UK airports and details of airlines and prices can be found on www.travelsupermarket.com. If you prefer to search by individual airlines, try Easyjet, Monarch, XL Airways, First Choice, Thomsonfly, Thomas Cook or Cyprus Airways. If Paphos flights are full you could always consider flying into Larnaca and picking up a hire car there. Larnaca Airport is about 100 kilometres from the property.
Car hire is recommended. Cars can be booked via www.travelsupermarket.com, www.cyprus-car.com also offer very competitive rates and they will meet you at the airport with a car. Other car hire companies can be found on the web and cars can be delivered to the apartment. Taxis are available at the airport and airport transfers can be arranged. Directions to the property and access details will be sent once the final payment has been received.

The living room has full width patio doors opening onto the front terrace, which has a comfortable outdoor seating area from where you can enjoy the stunning sea views.

A refundable £200 security deposit is due with the final balance 60 days prior to departure. This will be refunded within 30 days of the end of the rental period, providing there are no damages, losses or breakages.
