The Paphos District
Coral Bay Renowned for its beautiful blue flag beaches, Coral Bay offers a more extensive range of shops, bars, restaurants and night life.
Paphos Town / Harbour A short 15 minute drive from the villa takes you to Paphos Town and its bustling harbour. With the castle guarding the harbour entrance, enjoy a meal in one of the several seafood restaurants. Or perhaps book a trip on the glass bottom boat or a visit to the Tomb of Kings. A short walk inland will take you to the market area and the large range of stores and shops.
Golf Play all year round at the three 18 hole golf courses, all a short drive from Paphos. Tsada Golf Club is 15 km north of Paphos whilst the Secret valley Golf Club is 18km to the east and Aphrodite Hills is 20kms from Paphos. All are championship standard and boast restaurant and bar facilities as well as driving ranges and putting greens. A must for golf enthusiasts.
Waterpark Situated on the eastern side of Paphos, Aphrodite Waterpark has 26 different attractions to keep you entertained. You and the kids will have a fabulous day out here. The park is Open from May to October and is set amid 35,000 m2 of natural landscaped grounds.
Bird & Animal Park Located 6 km north west of Coral Bay, here you will find one of the most extensive bird and animal collections set amid 100,000 m2 of parkland, lakes, ponds and waterfalls. .
Sea-Horse Dive Centre For those who have never scuba dived before to the more experienced diver, the Sea-Horse Centre offers all the facilities, knowledge and expertise to ensure a safe and fun time whilst exploring the beauty beneath the waters.
Troodos Mountains At its highest point of 1952m (6404 ft) from January to March, the Troodos Mountains have become a haven for skiers. During the warmer months, the many views and natural countryside and forests make this a “must see” attraction. It is just over an hour's drive from the Villa.
The above list is not comprehensive but designed to give you a brief insight to a few of the facilities and attractions that the immediate area has to offer. Cyprus is steeped in its own turbulent history. From the Phoenicians to the Greeks, the Romans and Turks of the Ottoman Empire, Cyprus is the third largest island in the Med, a beautiful island with archaeological sites and places of interest too numerous to mention.
To get around, car hire is recommended and details of local car hire firms are available in the information brochure at the villa.
Peyia / Peyia Village area
Peyia itself retains its traditional charm, in particular the village square which lies in the heart of the village. Here, you will find a host of inexpensive restaurants and tavernas offering local and international cuisine. Why not try a traditional Meze. There are also several bars should you just wish a relaxing drink or watch the football and other sports on large screen television. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from the villa.
Peyia is also renowned for their Town Hall weddings and further information is available on request.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos airport and a private taxi or minibus will be waiting to take you to the Villa which is around a 35 minute journey and return you to airport at the end of your stay. We have negotiated excellent rates with the taxi company for your transfer. (around 40/45 euros single journey) However you can arrange to hire a car from the airport. The internet is the best source for flights. Cyprus has a 2 hour time difference from GB. Flyglobespan are now flying from Glasgow

Villa may be rented for 1 week to long term. Discounts will be given for 3 weeks and over. Our villa is looked after by property managers who are a retired English couple now living in Cyprus. Jacquie and John will visit you on the first day of your holiday to introduce themselves and help settle you into the villa and answer any of your questions. They reside within the same development and their contact details are available in the information folder in the villa.
Conditions
25% Non refundable Deposit required at time of booking and final payment to be received 7 weeks before commencement of holiday. £150 refundable deposit (damage/ breakages)to be paid at time of full balance and on a satisfactory inventory will be refunded within 10 days of your return.
Villa is suitable for Elderly though 3 bedrooms and main bathroom are on upper floor. There is a double sofa bed in lounge and downstairs cloakroom/wc. We would prefer smokers to use the patio area outside the villa for the comfort of other holidaymakers.
