The summer season in Cyprus has now begun. The sun is shining and its set to be a beautiful summer. Cyprus is the perfect place to relax with family and friends and enjoy the sunshine.
The property is in a great location for your holidays being close to golf courses, fishing, beaches, attractions, mountains and the historic town of Paphos .Peyia is the ideal place to relax in the sun.
The holiday home has been equipped in order for you to have your perfect holiday and we want our guests to feel that it is their own private haven in the sun. With this in mind we have a modern and spacious apartment which is furnished to a high standard. The apartment comfortably sleeps 6 and has a luxury Italian fitted Kitchen which is fully equipped including washing machine and dishwasher. The main bedroom is furnished with a solid wood king-size bed with orthopedic mattress and 2 bedside cabinets with large fitted wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom is identical but has 3 foot twin beds instead and 1 bedside cabinet. The bathroom has a shower over bath and a large vanity unit with plenty of storage topped with Italian Marble. The large Lounge Diner is furnished with 2 double sofabeds, 32" LCD TV and DVD player, the solid wood dining table seats 6.
There is hot and cold aircon in all rooms plus pedastal fans. Outside is a lovely shaded terrace complete with a patio set seating 6 for alfesco dining which overlooks the communal pool which has sunbeds and a shower area, The apartment is within the prestigious Olive Tree Court in Peyia, a private complex containing 22 apartments. Within a 2 minute walk from the apartment you will find 2 supermarkets, a bakery, restaurant, bar (with wifi), pharmacy, gymnasium and a bank. Within Peyia village there are many more bars, restaurants and amenities which are only a short walk away. (approx 8 mins) Coral Bay offers a more active scene and is a short drive away (5 Mins) Local buses also run hourly and cost 1 - 2 Euros to Coral Bay. We are 26 kilometres from Paphos airport and 10 Kilometres from Paphos. Welcome pack provided. Highchairs and cots available to hire.

The Paphos District
Coral Bay This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach approximately 2 kilometres away. This sandy horseshoe shaped bay is honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafÃ©s providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area known locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools. a wide range of excellent supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants, while Paphos (Pafos) is only a short drive away, approximately 10 minutes by car along the lovely ocean road.
Paphos - Paphos is a short drive away with its Picturesque harbour and fort.
Paphos Town, was once the capital of the island and is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port.
Moving away from the coastal area to explore a little further inland, you will come across the sleepy village of Kathikas. Kathikas is part of the Laona project, a rural regeneration and ecotourism project helping to introduce the concept of agrotourism to five villages on the border of the proposed Akamas reserve area. Located in the heart of wine country, Kathikas is one of the most attractive villages in the area, well known for its great many vineyards, grapes being its main product and their cultivation the main occupation of the villagers. Kathikas even has its own village winery which offers free wine tasting!
Take the time to explore some of the villages off the beaten path between Peyia and Polis on the northwest coast and you'll discover such delights as village cultural centres and museums, galleries and Churches.
The Akamas Penisula which is an outstanding area of natural beauty with its - deep gorges, a wild landscape, wide sandy bays (including Lara Bay Home to the Green Turtle, The Akamas Peninsula is within 15 minutes drive one of the few places in the Mediterranean where the Green turtle returns to breed). It is also an area of great bio-diversity and ecological significance. Home to 530 plant species, a third of the total for Cyprus, 126 of which are endemic to Cyprus. An un-spoilt wild place thanks to its inaccessibility. Great for walking and nature lovers! and caters for Fishing, Climbing, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Horse Riding, Off-Roading. etc..
There is also a variety of cultural and historical locations within a very short distance of the apartment, making this an ideal base.
Local amenities: golf, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, tennis, scuba diving, snorkeling, skiing historic sites, museum, zoo, water park and karting.
Attractions near to Peyia include Paphos, Paphos Forest, Aphroditeâ??s Rock, the Akamas Peninsula, the Adonis Baths with natural waterfall and (Tsada) Minthis Hills Golf Club, Secret Valley Golf Club to name but a few. Further away but still within day trip range are Troodos Mountains (including Mount Olympus for winter ski-ing) and Limassol.
Local activities include golf, cycling, walking, sailing, fishing, diving, windsurfing, water skiing, swimming, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding and ski-ing (Mount Olympus).

The apartment is located in lower Peyia (Pegia) village with unobstructed sea views and within walking distance to both the village and to Coral Bays blue flag Mediterranean beaches. The apartment provides the relaxed atmosphere of a rural retreat with all of the amenities you would expect on your doorstep.
Peyia (Pegia) Village:
The beautiful village of Peyia, is large and welcoming traditional village clinging to the rugged hills that act as a backdrop to this photogenic stretch of Paphos coastline. It is a great place to while away a relaxing lunchtime with a plateful of Meze and a cold bottle of Keo beer. Peyia wakes up at night and as the evening air cools and taverna tables groan under the weight of fresh food, the village centre comes alive with the sounds of animated conversation. Boasting traditional tavernas, restaurants, some with international theme nights, wine bars, coffee shops, well stocked supermarkets, delicatessens and a bakery, Peyia really does have something for everyone.
Car recommended (though taxis can be sorted, and buses operate very regularly between Peyia/Coral Bay/PaphosTown)

This apartment is lovely and spacious very light and airy, the kitchen is better than mine with the added benefit of dishwasher and washing machine. The Terrace overlooks the communal pool but still offers privacy, We loved the underground parking it's great to get into a cool car. In a great location with amenities within a short walk. Would recommend car hire but not totally essential as we found the buses run regularly. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
