The Paphos District
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage list.
Cyprus is famous as the birth place of the goddess Aphrodite, Venus in Roman mythology. She is known as the Ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Legend says that she emerged from the sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in a surge of sea foam.
Peyia area
We recommend car hire to fully enjoy the area. The beach at Coral Bay is only 5-10 minutes by car, for safe sandy bathing and water sports. Coral Bay has nightlife with shops, bars and restaurants until the early hours.
Peyia village is only 2-3 minutes drive away (15 minutes walking) for supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, bakers, takeaways and great restaurants for all your immediate needs. Paphos Town and Port is approx 20 minutes away. The Akamas Peninsular for hiking, walking, mountain biking, wildlife and nature is approx 15 minutes away. The Troodos mountains for breathtaking scenery and skiing is only one hour away. There is history and archaeology in Paphos and near Limassol. There are 3 championship standard golf courses all within 30 minute drive.Paphos airport is approx 30 mins drive to our villa, Larnaca is around 2 hours.

The ground floor consists of a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area is comfortably furnished with cream leather sofas and equipped with satellite TV (free to view), DVD player and CD Player. The large dining table comfortably seats 6. The spacious kitchen with granite work surfaces is fully equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher washing machine and water cooler. Also located on this floor is a guest cloakroom and large storage cupboard.
Stairs lead to the first floor where the three bedrooms are located. The master double bedroom has a large en suite shower room and a private balcony with views across the roofs of the neighbouring houses towards the sea. A safety deposit box and a hairdryer are also supplied for guests use. The two spacious twin bedrooms share a full and spacious family bathroom. One of the twin bedrooms has a private balcony with views across the hillside.
Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and there are two additional units on the ground floor (a total of 5 units). Fly screens are fitted to all patio doors. A "Meet and Greet" service is provided upon arrival.

Patio doors from the living area lead onto the pool terrace fully equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The 8m x 4m swimming pool has both walk in steps and a ladder. To the side of the kitchen is a raised terrace area with table and chairs, Gas BBQ and an awning ensuring comfortable shaded outdoor dining during the hot summer months. The meticulously landscaped gardens have been planted with carefully chosen young trees and the colourful bushes along the property perimeter provide a degree of natural privacy for the villa and pool area as well as welcome splashes of colour.
