The Paphos District
Paphos itself consists of two towns each with its very own character Ktima on the cliff Upper Paphos and Kato Paphos by the sea Lower Paphos. One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.
In Kato Paphos in the archaeological park you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods plus the Harbour Castle. Close by is the church of St Pauls Pillar where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.
Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula (4km) there is Lara Bay famous for turtles and Latchi famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.
Heading North by car you can find the route to Kathikas, Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with many other small but charming villages along the way.
An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodites Birthplace and Temple towards Limassol taking in Curium is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

Further details indoors: The apartments are all 2 bedroom in contemporary design with the living rooms featuring luxurious leather sofas, 21 inch colour satellite TV, and DVD player and fully fitted kitchens having granite worktops and stainless steel appliances. Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and patio doors and the bathrooms are modern and clean.
Further details outdoors: Ground floor apartments have patios to the front of the properties while first floor apartments have balconies and stairs which provide access to roof terraces with 360 degree panoramic views of sea and mountains. Some also overlook the beautifully appointed swimming pool(12m x 6m)which has ample room to provide residents with both refreshment and relaxation. There is 1 apartment with its own private garden and 5m x 3 m pool. (£50 per week supplement for this apartment).

Fabulous Apartments. Not like normal crowded complexes. Everything is well spaced out but still with an intimate feel. The pool area is lovely, views from roof terrace breathtaking and sitting out on the terrace at night was great. Gary and Lou (the property managers) really helped and looked after us. The local restaurants are great, the bakery just up the road sold the most wonderful bread and pastries and the weather was fantastic all week. Thank you. Michael and Elisabeth.Kent.
