Further details indoors:
Superb views from the balcony (where probably most of your meals will be had) down the mountainside to the coast and sea.
Owner is also Greek speaking and Cyprus born and so can provide much information with regard the customs/culture of Cyprus and the places to visit. Easy to follow directions to the apartment from Paphos or Larnaca airports sent out prior to holiday makers.
The Paphos region
Very warm from June through to August. Milder in the spring and autumn. Chance of rain in the winter months but generally still mild with average day time temperatures of about 18C.
Spectacular coastal region with many archaeological sites. For site seeing and/or for those keen on more athletic pursuits, attractions such as the Agamas National Park and the Troodos mountains can be easily reached. If keen just to stretch out and relax, many excellent beaches are nearby including the turtle nesting beach reserves just up the coast from Peyia.
The Peyia / Peyia Village area
Quiet lazy mountainside village with excellent restaurants. The very traditional village of Kathikas, on the mountain plain behind Peyia, with its famous winery (open to visitors) and renowned restaurants is within easy reach as is the coastal resort of Coral Bay for those seeking a faster pace.

We stayed in an immaculate, homely one bedroom spacious apartment, with tasteful Mediterranean decor. All the facilities and amenities were in excellent working condition. The balcony was equipped with a table, chairs and a large sun-umbrella if desired. Otherwise, a sun-trap to top-up your tan. A peaceful haven with panoramic views of the surrounding area and the sea glistening in the distance.
There is a communal pool adequate in size and I am sure in the summer months it will be an ideal place to cool off, but prefer the sea which is just a short drive away. Parking was provided.
Only a 10 minute gentle, sloping hill walk away is the picturesque village of Peyia. It is an eclectic mix of traditional tavernas, bakeries as well as modern stores. The locals are warm and friendly we enjoyed eating-out at rustic, small kebab houses plenty of tasty, food and unpretentious.
We explored the area by car and foot, and would definitely recommend the Akamas Peninsular a rare and precious wilderness area. Plenty to see and explore-the Avagas Gorge is a must and yet again so many photo opportunities and a little further north is Lara beach famous for its nestling turtles. Note the route is a loose surface road.
We would definitely recommend and plan to stay in this apartment in the very near future.
