The Paphos region
Whether a first timer to Cyprus, or a regular visitor, Paphos and the surrounding area has something for everyone. From skiing in the Troodos Mountains in the winter, two/three day cruises to Egypt and the Holy Land, a wide range of watersports, golfing days or gentle strolls in the beautiful sunshine and ambient temperatures, the island of Cyprus appeals to all generations.
With four-hour flights from many provincial airports in the UK, Cyprus is ideal for a long winter break for retirees, the annual family holiday or a stress-busting week for high flyers. Cyprus is the warmest place in the EU with over 340 days of sunshine each year.
Peyia is a small town set on the hillside with a number of banks, ATMs, shops, restaurants and bars. Coral Bay, with its sandy beach and multitude of restaurants, is a 10 minute drive away and the bustling port of Paphos only 20 minutes by car.
