The Paphos District
One of, if not the sunniest island in the Mediterranean, with beautiful sandy beaches, crystal clear waters for swimming, diving and other water sports and coves for those more adventurous types. Throughout its history it has been invaded my many nations but for all of this the Cypriot people remain friendly and welcoming to all comers. Cyprus has something for everyone, from the mosaics in Paphos harbour, the Tombs of the Kings on the Coast road, and many other Antiquity sites, Monasteries such as Kykkos and Ayios Neophytou, to shopping in the markets and villages.
Peyia area
Peyia is a traditional village with many restaurants and tavernas offering good local food and hospitality. There are supermarkets, delicatessen, butchers, bakery, fish market, 3 banks with ATMs, pharmacy and more. Coral Bay is a short drive away, besides the sandy beaches it has more restaurants, night life and shopping. Go-karting and horse riding is also available nearby. You can drive to the Sea Caves, the Akamas peninsula, its beaches, wilderness and walks, or just check out the flora and fauna. Paphos is 15 minutes drive, besides the antiquities and dining you can organise jeep safaris, fishing trips, boat trips and the latest activity in the area is hot air ballooning. Or take a drive to the north west coast to Polis and Latchi a picturesque fishing village and enjoy a delectable meal in the local tavernas. If it gets too warm on the coast, try a drive into the mountains to Platres or Troodos. In winter you can play snowballs or ski in Troodos and then sunbath on the coast all on the same day. Or go further afield to Limassol, Larnaca, Nicosia and Ayia Napa and all they have to offer.
How to get there
Nearest airport is Paphos - Pegeia (Peyia) is approx 30 minutes drive from the airport. Easyjet now fly to both Paphos and Larnaca airports. Taxi transfer can be arranged on your behalf. We can recommend Car Hire from www.gspcarhire.com, a very friendly local company who know the location of the villa and are very reasonably priced. You can either collect the car at the airport or have it delivered to the Villa on a day of your choice. Either contact them direct and mention Villa Potamos in the special requirements section or we can liaise on your behalf.

Further details indoors: Built with space and comfort in mind and furnished to a high standard. The spacious ground floor consists of an open plan lounge with air-conditioning and a wood-burning fireplace for those cooler evenings, a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area which seats 8. The patio doors lead to the furnished terrace and private pool. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and shower. Upstairs is fully air-conditioned, the two main bedrooms have king-size beds and balcony with views towards the sea. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room. The third room has two large single beds and small balcony. All bedrooms have bulit in wardrobes. The family bathroom has a large corner bath.
Further details outdoors: The sun shines on the pool from morning until the sun sets which you can watch whilst dining alfresco style. Patio furniture, loungers and a portable BBQ are provided for your relaxation.

Towels are provided for use in and around the villa, please bring your own beach towels. Maid service will be provided for each additional weeks rental period, maid services do not include washing up or personal laundry. Check in time is 15:00 hours and check out 10:00 hours, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Conditions
20% deposit at time of booking. Final payment required 6 weeks prior to departure. Full payment required if booked within 8 weeks of departure. GB£50.00 refundable damage / breakages deposit required with final payment.
