Apartment Medea is stylishly furnished air conditioned one bedroom apartment enjoying wonderful sea views and a private roof terrace in the popular and charming village of Peyia. Ideally located just a few minutes away from Coral Bay beach and walking distance to a good selection of village shops this apartment is popular with couples and families seeking a relaxing beach holiday.

The large open plan lounge dining area has two large comfortable sofas one of which is a good quality spring action sofa bed allowing the apartment to sleep four adults comfortably, with satellite TV and DVD. Wi-Fi Internet available for guests.

The fully equipped kitchen has ceramic hob and oven, microwave and washing machine. The family bathroom has pressurised water system a bath with over shower.

Guests can enjoy the communal swimming pool or go to the famous sandy Coral Bay and Lara Beaches which are just a five minute drive. It is Ideal for families or couples looking for good quality self catering accommodation within walking distance of amenities in an area that offers a great choice of things to do and see and just 10 minutes from the centre of Paphos.

The Paphos region

With an all year round Mediterranean climate Paphos is very popular with visitors from the UK, Germany and Scandinavia looking for a cosmopolitan holiday resort. Paphos is most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, historical sites, a beautiful old harbour, its modern hotels and restaurants, situated along the harbour front promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paulas Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty).

The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas.

Paphos offers shopping in the tourist beach promenade and the old town area of Kato Paphos has a wonderful old covered market area to browse around.

The Peyia area

Peyia is a very popular and charming village situated on a gently sloping hillside overlooking Coral Bay. It is very traditional in look and feel with little winding streets and traditional stone houses with an old village church and shops at the centre. Peyia offers visitors a good selection of amenities including banks, doctors, two supermarkets, a fantastic bakery, butchers, fishmongers, DVD shop and launderette. It also offers a good selection of traditional tavernas where you can try the local fish or meat meze, or you can try Chloes that offers themed food evenings throughout the week.
Cafés, Bars, & Dining- You can have a coffee or snack at one of the cafés. A short walk from the apartment, there are several pubs or music bars. There is a good selection of traditional tavernas where you can try the local fish or meat meze, or you can try Sophie`s for themed food buffet evenings throughout the week- Mexican, Thai, Chinese &more. Choose to eat in and you can have kebabs or pizzas delivered or buy from the deli which supplies chicken curry, moussaka, salad, pasta and a choice of sweets.

Celebrations – join in with the festivities. During Easter and Christmas see the whole centre of the village lit with fairy lights which stretch all the way from Coral Bay to the Church centre, accompanied by lovely displays in the Municipal gardens to match the season.
