Home description
The house and pool are situated on the top piazza in the heart of the town and are a part of the main 17th century Palace where dominates the old bell tower in a private and exclusive area The House is situated at 300m heigh hill top town providing a bird-eye view both on the Sibilini mountains on the Adriatic Sea coast. and the fruit growing valley below. The sea is just 12km within reach (20min with car max).
Being Antique collectors we have strived ,with the help of the enthusiastic local artisans which Italy is renown for to maintain the authentic spirit of renewal without excluding the modern comforts. Great care has been taken in the choice of marble ,.wood and terra cotta to create an enchanting atmosphere with a surprise at every corner.
The location is furnished with authentic 17th 18th century Italian furniture to content the real lovers of antiques. The town Petritoli dates back to the 12 th century and was founded by the monks of Farfa. It is said that it was formed by three castles merged together which is most possible considering the medieval characteristics that surrounds the walls and within. Wine alone could provide an excellent motive for touring in the Marche and winemaking in this area has been having its own little renaissance over the last ten years or so, with a move away from quantity towards quality.
The House is strategically placed on top of the highest piazza dominating the valley, providing views of the Sibilini mountains and the Adriatic coast. Petritoli is situated in an area that is surrounded by dozens of little medieval towns that have in the recent 10 years been fully restored to their original aspect regaining the splendor of the past and consequently renewing the old traditional festivities and traditionsTherefore there is an abundance of places to visit and things to do. This region also prides itself in the fact that culinary specialties are still widely promoted with additional rigor in the choice of genuine products that are combined in the recipes
Being near to the sea (12km) we are able to propose our guests on request a sailing charter week to Croatia just across. Our sailing boat is 50 feet (16m )and can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins with their own bathrooms. Croatia has 1180 islands abounds with wild nature , cristal waters, Venitian architecture and very good sea food.Reserved to people with experience in sailing .

The Marche / Abruzzo / Marche region
The region lies on the eastern side of central Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and the high Apennine mountains and much of it remains unspoilt by the ravages of mass tourism. Many visitors who come to Le Marche are looking for a taste of the "real" Italy, unsullied by mass tourism, yet welcoming to foreigners - if that's what you want, you won't be disappointed. The provincial capital of Ascoli Piceno lies at the southern end of Le Marche. This beguiling old town is well worth a visit.. Its marble-paved main square is one of the most beautiful in Italy. The alluring hilltown of Fermo is the capital of the newly-created province of Fermo which PETRITOLI is part of and boasts a fine historic centre. From Petritoli you'll find some of the most impressive mountain scenery to the south of the region amidst the Monti Sibillini, whose peaks are often covered with snow until the late spring. Wine alone could provide an excellent motive for touring in the Marche and winemaking in the area has been having its own little renaissance over the last ten years or so, with a move away from quantity towards quality.
Le Marche can boast one of the highest number of Blue Flag beaches of any region in Italy. The prestigious Blue Flagis awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education to environmentally well-kept beaches across Europe. The important "eco-label" is given to sites that meet strict criteria including water quality, environmental management, safety and other services. Porto San Giorgio the seaside resort town was once the ancient port for the inland city of Fermo is now a pleasant seaside resort with a small working port it owes some of its charm to a few fine examples of the Liberty Style architecture that was much in vogue in the smarter seaside resorts across Italy at the turn of the 19thC. IIt's 13thC fortress, built by Lorenzo Tiepolo, later Doge of Venice, stands close by the town's central square, and has fine towers and high keep.
But the town's main attractions are its fish and its attractive beaches. There are plenty of moderately priced restaurants serving brodetto (the Marche fish stew) to choose from. There are also eating events or Sagre: Pretty well every town and village throughout the Marche has some food or wine event during the summer months.
Petritoli area
Petritoli has an ambulatory hospiatal Contrary to received opinion,The Italian public health service, at least in the Marche, works very well. A modern, well-run network of hospitals covers the whole region and even in the most out-of-the-way corners you'll never be far from emergency treatment should you need it. For minor aches and pains make for the farmacia, near by. It keeps normal shop hours and can be spotted by a green cross outside; they also operate an emergency 24-hour service on a rotating shift basis, details of which are displayed in the window
In the event of serious illness or injury, head for the 24-hour casualty departments (pronto soccorso or punto di primo intervento) Also just nearby. The area is a very well-known shoe maker region with over 4000 factories of high fashion shoes like TODS ,PRADA ,Piaciotti , ROSSI,GUCCI,ect with factory outlets with factory prices.
