Cruden Bay is a quiet coastal village 25 miles north of Aberdeen and 8 miles south of Peterhead which is the largest town in the county of Aberdeenshire . Cruden Bay boasts a splendid beach which is famous for a battle between the invading Vikings & the Scots in 1012 .
