"Rustically Charming"

Casa del Sole is set in a fabulous location in the heart of Tuscany. The scenery is beautiful and characteristic of the area. If you are looking for a taste of Tuscany then you will find it here. The owners are extremely hospitable and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel completely at home.

Situated centrally for Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. If you are looking for somewhere to relax but also able to explore the area then this is the place. The road network is fantastic and you can reach the surrounding cities within an hour or so. There is also a railway station in Pescia and you can travel around this way if you are not so keen on driving all the time.

The road leading to the house is not for the faint hearted but is worth all the twists and turns once you reach your destination! The town is about a 15 minute walk from the house and there is a fab little enoteca (wine bar) which should not be missed!

We are disappointed to not be returning for the olive harvest as this experience sounds fantastic. The owners harvest their own olives from the olive groves on their land and use a mill in the neighbouring village to produce their own olive oil in the traditional way.

We look forward to returning again soon!

"Idyllic retreat set in glorious Tuscan countryside, close to amenities"

What a marvel this place is. We had a wonderful time here with our 2 children, surrounded by woodland and olive groves . The farm house is charming and very comfortable. The local town is a friendly and pretty place with plenty of excellent places to eat. Florence and Pisa are also close enough for a day trip. We would certainly return.
