Almost all can be reached in less than an hour. Whether downhill skiing , snowboarding, cross-country skiing ( high levels of Rocche , Campo Imperatore , Cinque Miglia , Voltigno and the Piani di Pezza ) or just sledding, all sports are ideal in the partially steep ridges and the far-flung areas of the mythical mountains of Abruzzo operate .We speak German, Italian, English. Pescara

Situated in the hinterland in the province of Pescara, the charming Catignano is located on a hill to the presence of the Gran Sasso and Maiella a few miles to the Adriatic coast.It is the geographic center of a group of countries that surround it.Our guests will find opportunities to engage actively in their spare time and recover a state of tranquility and psychological well-being, to make the "full" of energy and good humor.Many archaeological excavations in the surroundings of the small town probably date back to a Roman settlement.Abruzzo include three national parks and numerous nature reserves, therefore, this region is ideal for nature lovers and peace seekers. Most of the Gran Sasso Nature Park is located in this region.You will also find are a range of paths and trails that you can best ride a mountain bike.The region is crisscrossed with rivers and steep rock walls and especially for the adventurous there is the possibility for canyoning and white water rafting. In addition, you will find a series of paths and trails that you can best ride a mountain bike. Several mountain bike tours for beginners and experienced cyclists are available. Above all, the Campo Imperatore gates is very suitable for mountain bikers. This 27-km area is the Mecca of cycling in this region and is hardly used by cars.The WWF protected Lake on Penne is only 10 minutes and offers the opportunity to see a rare birds and other animals
