The villa is also ideally placed for the busier beach resorts of Larnaca (10 mins), Agia Napa (50mins), Limassol (45mins) and the rest of Cyprus. The Larnaca District
Cyprus, an island of legends that basks year-round in the light of the warm Mediterranean sun. A storied past 10,000 years long has seen civilizations come and go and the likes of everyone from Alexander the Great to Cleopatra stake their claim here - but then, people do tend to get possessive when faced with such beauty. Aphrodite made her home on Cyprus, and travellers throughout antiquity came here just to pay her tribute.
Today Cyprus is a modern country that effortlessly marries European culture with ancient enchantment. Here you will discover a compact world of alluring beaches and fragrant mountain peaks, vineyards studded with olive trees and ancient ruins that stir the imagination, citrus groves and old stone villages where sweet wine flows as freely as conversations at the local café. A carefree place where a sense of timelessness is magnified by the kindness of the people.
Pervolia area
A traditional coastal village 12km SW of Larnaca. Peaceful and quiet, the 1500 inhabitants mix readily with the tourists in the bars and tavernas in the village centre. Walking down the pedestrianised main street you will pass supermarkets, banks, tourist shops and everything you would expect from a small village, with plenty of opportunity to rest your feet at one of the restaurants whose tables spill out onto the pavement. On the beach, with its warm clear blue waters, there is the chance to try out watersports, or simply relax in the sun. For the more adventurous, nearby you will find kart racing, camel park (with rides), Hala Sultan Tekke & Larnaca salt lakes with its pink flamingos.
15 mins drive away the Larnaca sea front is famous for its long strip of palm trees (Phinikoudes) which line the beach. In the summer months this area is particularily popular both day and night as it boasts good food, drink and a place to relax and soak up the sun!
Further afield, Ayia Napa and Protaras famous for clubbing,water parks & beaches can be reached in under 30 minutes by car.

Further details indoors: This villa is suitable for someone with mobility problems. The entrance can be accessed by a small ramp suitable for a wheelchair. There is the sofa bed in the living room and also the downstairs shower room with WC.
Further details outdoors: With a south facing garden the pool area enjoys sun all day long. There are sun beds for sunbathing by the pool. The garden is also fenced to 6 feet all around so you have plenty of privacy. There is a parking space on the property for your hire care with no need to park on the road.
The villa is just 100m from a quiet family beach. For more activity there is a beach with water sports less than 500m or you can venture in to the beautiful sandy McKenzie Beach which is doesn't get too crowded but there are plenty of bars and restaurants. If you want it livelier you can go to Larnaca. Both Larnaca and McKenzie Beach are shallow beaches - great for children.
The villa is situated a mile from the lovely village of Pervolia with friendly local tavernas, a couple of great restaurants and a handful of shops. Local currency (the Cypriot Pound) can be drawn from cash machines but it is advisable to bring local currency with you, which can easily be obtained at most International Airports. You can also exchange traveller’s cheques at most hotels.
The nearest airport is Larnaca which is 5 miles away. Car hire is recommended but not essential. The motorways are also just a short drive away.
Nearest supermarket is 1km though there is a convenience store 200m away. Pervolia village is less than about a mile away. There are a couple of bars, restaurants within 500m. Ayia Napa is 45 mins drive and Paphos about an hour.
Conditions
We require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The balance, together with a security deposit of £100, is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. The security deposit will be returned once the villa has been checked upon departure.
