Recently restored with three self-catering farmhouse apartments they are just five minutes from main shops. All apartments have private terraces for al fresco dining and access to the private pool. Ideal for walkers, golfers and families seeking relaxation.

The Umbria region

Umbria is situated in the heart of Italy, between italian regions -Toscana, Marche, Lazio and Abruzzo. It extends over a surface of kmq.8456. It is divided into two Provinces - Perugia - Terni and 92 municipalities. The Regional Administrative Centre is Perugia.
Travelling the roads of Umbria is a journey full of surprises, continuously suspended between the signs of a
well-preserved past and a vocation for the future. Umbria today, reinventing itself fashionable but without overdoing it, has much to offer visitors: sport, culture, museums and musical events of international renown. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable harmony, every stretch of land and every city has its own unique identity, the result of millennia of civilisation that have left dense layers of memory and timeless masterpieces throughout the land: Umbrian, Etruscan, and Roman first period, the Middle Ages, and then the Renaissance.

These are great events that are famous the world over, starting with Umbria Jazz in its three versions: the winter edition in Orvieto, the Easter edition in Terni dedicated to gospel and soul music, and the summer classic in Perugia, held in July, which hosts the top stars of the current music scene.

And then there’s the Spoleto Festival the Todi ArteFestival .

Theatre and music are intense activities here; each city has its own theatre season.

Last but not least are the historic and folklore commemorations: each city has its own and the most famous are the Quintana in Foligno, the Gaite in Bevagna, the Palio dei Terzieri in Città della Pieve and the Balestra in Gubbio.
And at Christmas and Easter, there is also a host of ceremonies and sacred representations.

Perugia, Assisi, Lago Trasimeno, Gubbio and other wonderful city are reachable by car in 20-30 minutes

Perugia area

Close to both the Beach at Lago Trasimeno and the capital city of Umbria - Perugia, Alsagra is a great place to stay. Perugia has many hidden treats in store, from street cafes to Frescos inside the town hall. The Jazz festival in Summer is one of the musical highlights of the year.

Many historical towns are within 20 to 30 minutes drive, such as Assisi, Cortona and Gubbio all of which still hold the traditional lifestyle and culture of Italy.

In the surrounding area there are numerous walks in beautiful countryside, the National Park of Monte Tezio is less than 5 minutes away. There is horseriding and sailing nearby. The 18 hole championship golf course of Antognolla is less than 2 kms away so is very accessible, you can even see the fairways from the apartments.

How to get there

You can get to Alsagra with flights to Perugia, Pisa, Forli, Rome or any central Italy airports.

We are 20 minutes from Perugia, Assisi and Cortona.

The lake is 20 minutes away.

Our nearest mainline train station is Terontola, Cortona or Chiusi.

The apartment has two large bedrooms, the master bedroom has wardrobe and double bed whilst the other bedroom can be made into bunk beds and another bed added or into another double bedroom.

There is a large bathroom with sink, toilet and shower.

The kitchen, dining and lounge are spacious with open views across the surrounding valleys. A comfortable sofa and lounging chairs make for relaxing stay.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and utensils.

Throughout this apartment there are high chestnut beamed ceilings and terracotta floors.

Further details outdoors:
Outside there is a private terrace with table, chairs and a private barbeque. On one of the terraces is an amazing outdoor heated swimming pool with breathtaking views and stepped entry. The pool area is fenced and on a larged paved area there are comfortable loungers.

Conditions

- We are happy to accept payment in UK Sterling at the prevailing exchange rate.
- Please note that the rates are based upon up to 4 people sharing the apartment. A levy of €130 per person per week will made for any additional guests.
- Prices are inclusive of all linen, towels and final cleaning.
- Refundable breakages deposit of €200 required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
- 30% of rental fee due on confirmation of your booking, the balance is due six weeks prior to your arrival.
- An additional charge of €10 per day will be made during the cooler months for heating and fuel and rates.
- Guests should arrive after 4.00pm and vacate the property before 10.00am.
- A normal week is from Saturday to Saturday, but please contact us if you wish to discuss alternative days, we will be happy to try and accommodate you.
- Strictly no smoking except outside.

Prices are based on 4 sharing, additional guests can be accommodated at €130 per week per person.
Price includes, towels, bed linen, cleaning, and utilites. If heating is required this is charged at an additional cost.
Payment is ideally in Euros however Sterling can also be accommodated and payment is based on the spot rate of the day.
Security deposit of €200 is required on arrival and is refunded on departure less the cost of any breakages etc
