DEL BONFIGLI LUXURY APARTMENT is part od "The charming Villa Nuba apartments", it's a luxury bilocal apartment of 50sm total, 2+1 bedplace and it's made of :

- Living room with kitchenette, single bed-sofa and fireplace
- Junior suite with couple bed
- Pre-bathroom
- Bathroom with angula Jacuzzi bathtub
- Equipped terrace with chairs, sunbed and table

A luxurious and elegant apartment set in charming countryside whilst being a mere stone's throw from the historic centre of the city of Perugia.

This historic farmhouse which dates back to the 1400s was built on a hill just outside Perugia. During 2001-2002, the building has been refurbished and remodelled into luxury apartments. The owners live in the main body of the villa and provide warm and friendly family hospitality.

The Umbria region

The region of Umbria is traditionally considered the green heart of Italy. Guests are always enchanted with the dazzling views of historic villages perched on the Umbrian hills.

Perugia area

Perugia, the regional capital is only a 1.5 km away and certainly worth a visit with its narrow, winding medieval streets. A memorable experience can also be enjoyed in the dark, mysterious passageways of the old underground quarter which runs under the fortress at La Rocca Paolina.

The myriad of restaurants where diners can savour the traditional dishes of Umbria and Italian cuisine in general are always popular with visitors. Locals are extremely friendly; they have long been accustomed to the presence of visitors from other countries as Perugia is the home of the prestigious University for Foreigners for Italian Language Studies.
Finally, the Umbria Jazz Festival (during the July month) and Eurochocolate (during the October month) are local events which should not be missed!

How to get there

Two main options:

1) Fly to regional airport - Sant' Egidio Umbria (15 minute drive from villa - pickup can be arranged) The airport has daily flights from Milan.

Flies from London Stansted to PERUGIA Ancona, Bologna Forli and Rome Ciampino; from London Luton to Rome Ciampino. Also flies from Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow and Liverpool to Rome Ciampino and from Bournemouth, Doncaster, Dublin, Glasglow, and Liverpool To Pisa.

2) Fly to Rome international airport - Fiumicino. From there the train journey to Perugia is 2.5 hrs. Pickup from the railway station can be arranged. A car can be hired from the airport - the drive is approx 1.5 hrs.

Hello Giuseppe, I am writing to say thankyou for the great time we had at Villa Nuba. We have told many of our friends about your apartments and maybe they will come and stay one day. Certainly our friends Peter and Kirsty (Peter has the leukemia) are keen to come possibly next year. They were very grateful that you were able to refund some of their deposit. All of us really enjoyed our stay in Perugia (except for the one way streets) and we also enjoyed Spoleto when we stayed there. Umbria is truly a beautiful part of Italy and I think by staying in your apartments, we were able to experience a little bit of the day to day italian life. I gather the weather in Italy has been very good for September, so you got your wish that September was better than August. I think you have improved your website since I last looked. It is looking good.

We hope this letter find you and your family very well! We absolutely adored our stay in Del Perugina, Villa Nuba and miss it already! First of all, picking us up at the train station was so appreciated, as we had been traveling for 30 hours by then! Then, to find our bountiful basket of food waiting for us was wonderful, as all the stores were closed on Sunday! Your friendliness and your family's kindness was exceptional. Remembering our excursion in your car to the outside regions of Perugia city was one of the highlights of our holiday! We loved the elegance and charm of our apartment, which was equipped with everything one would need- truly "a home away from home"! The views of the surrounding countryside were spellbinding as were the gardens surrounding Villa Nuba. Thank you so much for the most wonderful stay in a beaurtiful area called Umbria! We can highly recommend Villa Nuba Apartments! We will be back! A special hello to your mother and father from us.Maybe we will see you in Australia someday!

What can one say about our host - magnifico!!
Many thanks for the personal, whirlwind convertible tour of Perugia to help us get acquainted with your marvelous city upon our arrival. And the advice on towns to visit in Umbria. Our time spent at Villa Nuba was so relaxing and made easy - with a very welcome basket of delights, afternoons spent swimming at the pool and long chats about life over wine in the evenings.
It was our children's's favourite spot in Italy and we hope one day to return (perhaps for the Jazz festival)
