"Casa Foresti" is a 4-rooms, 120sq/m apartment with garden inside a 14th century building (renovated in 2009); it's located in the historic centre of Bettona, a lovely medieval village resting on top of a green hill coated in olive groves. Completely furnished, equipped with Wi-Fi ADSL and everything you might need, it's just the perfect house for your stay, offering relax in the typical barrel-valuted living room; fun while trying your cooking skills with real italian food in the lovely kitchen; a beautiful dining room with wide windows overlooking the ancient etruscan walls, and a small terrace on the walls for an afternoon tea.

With the reservation is required the payment of 30% of the total amount of your stay.
A deposit of 100€ is requested on arrival, refunded at departure if no damage was caused.

In case of cancellation:

Full refund of the 30% deposit if the cancellation is 60 days before arrival
30% of the total holiday cost if the cancellation occurs between 59 to 10 days before arrival
50% of the total holiday cost if the cancellation occurs less than 10 days before arrival.

The Umbria region

The Umbria region is also known as the Italian ‘Green Heart’ due to its lush mountainous geography.

The Umbrians are renowned for their olive oil and vineyards, which produce excellent wines.

Another typical product from Umbria is the black truffle found in Valnerina, Perugia. Many other Luxury products like Tobacco and chocolate are produced in the region. And don’t forget the famous jazz festival in July!

“An exceptional place to experience Umbria” Our experience in Bettona exceeded our expectations in every way. Include a stay at Giorgio's, it will be a memorable part of your trip. We arrived in the heat of the day. After the winding drive to the hilltop village we were greeted by our host and shown to a cool (a great relief from the heat) comfortable gorgeous private apartment with beautiful views of the valley. The apartment is literally part of the city wall. Bettona itself is lovely and itself a great place to stay. The apartment is clean and very comfortably furnished. It is also close to many interesting activities, including Assisi, the UNESCO sponsored medieval village. This a great value too. Magnifico!, the care that went into renovating and maintaining this apartment in this village was evident in the magical feeling, see for yourself.

“Fantastic Holiday” This Family in Bettona is a very caring and helpful family. From the time we arrived till the time we had to leave the entire experience was memorable. The owners Francesco and Girgio a father and son team gave us personal attention with guided tours and helpful area directions. For a wonderful vacation in a clean and spacious apartment 1440 near Assisi is the place to centre your trip.

“Delightfully spacious apartment in quiet Medieval village” The 14th Century house is a lovely and spacious place to stay in Umbria. It is nicely located near many other quiet hilltop villages while still close enough to larger cities if desired. I have just returned from a five week trip down the coast of Brava, Sardinia, Le Marche and Umbria. Our stay with the Foresti family was one of the most unique. As all the other reviewers have already stated, what really makes this a completely different experience is the care and interest the owners give to their guests. They welcome you into their home, and share their lives with you. They will provide lots of input or very little, depending on your interests. If you are looking for a quiet, medieval hilltop village and wish to experience the flavor of Umbria with the help of a very special local family, this is the place to stay!

“An authentic Italian Hill Town experience, in a wonderful flat, with gracious hosts.” This flat in the lovely very small hill town of Bettona was a treat! It is well appointed with all that we needed. There was a lovely outdoor seating area with a nice view. This place was perfect for our family during our trip to Italy. I think that the best part though was the hosts. Francesco made our trip there and all the details like parking very easy. Then he and Anna took us on a drive and walk at sunset to look at Bettona and Assisi from a distance. This is the kind of experience that I hope for when we travel - they were warm, genuine, welcoming and so helpful. Anna helped us plan our last couple of days in Rome with an itinerary and map! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our stay in the Foresti Family flat was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
