Excellent holiday villa, set in 2 hectares of pine forest with lawned and wooded gardens. There are open views, lawns with automatic watering system. Entrance is via a furnished patio with a fountain.
The house itself is tastefully decorated and stylishly furnished. Internet access available. 30 minutes drive from Aix-en-Provence with its tangle of cobbled streets lined with wonderful restaurants and boutiques. Though there are several good restaurants close by (The owner will be happy to advise you!).
The south facing sun terrace has views of the Luberon range and the large pool has a gently sloping shallow beach, ideal for young children. The area around the pool is well furnished with day bed and comfortable seating and loungers.
The pleasant grounds that surround the property are vast and create a haven with absolute quiet and shady areas to wander and cool off. Football pitch.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region
Situated in the Luberon National Park, between La Bastidonne and Pertuis (6 km), 25 km north of Aix en Provence. The closest big city is Marseille, with its leisure and commercial ports. Ferries from here go to Corsica and Sardinia and further afield across the Mediterranean sea.
The Vaucluse is home to ancient stone settlements and pittoresque villages perched on high rocks such as Gordes and Roussillon, providing many day trips and afternoons out and about. A major Roman road runs along the north side of the Massif, that led from Italy to Spain passing through the Roman town of Apt. Ancient ruins and forts barely surviving the Wars of Religion tell astounding stories to visitors of this area rich in history.
The Luberon is mainly dry and arid, made up of limestone cliffs, rocky plains and pine forests. Lavender, thyme and rosemary grow naturally and provide a sweet scented air on hot days. Canals, rivers and lakes lace the region, the cool water and green banks providing a cool haven for wildlife and bathers alike! The climate is fairly hot and dry from may through to the end of September, with temperatures averaging already around 25 degrees in June.
Pertuis area
Set in a park of 30 hectares of vineyards and pine trees, south of the Luberon Mountain range. Small river nearby. Pertuis town centre is 4 km away, tennis: 3 km. A Provencal market is held every Wednesday and Saturday morning in Pertuis.
30km from Aix en Provence town centre where many shops, boutiques of all kinds and literally hundreds of restaurants line the streets.
Set in the heart of the countryside though not isolated, amongst pine forests and vineyards, overlooking the Luberon valley. Absolute peace and tranquility, birdsong and squirrels.
How to get there
The closest airport (approx. 45 minute drive) is Marseille where budget airlines Easy jet and Ryan air fly from London and other European airports.
The TGV trains run from the UK and accross France to Aix en Provence Gare TGV which is a half hour drive from the property.
Bus services run from the airport to Aix and to Pertuis.

Minimum rental period is one week. Rentals run from Saturday 4 - 8pm to Saturday 10am.
To reserve you need to send 25% of the total amount. Balance payable 30 days before the beginning of your stay.
Included in the rates: bed linen, towels, pool maintenance, 2 x 3 hours cleaning per week, electricity, water and end of stay clean (The villa must be left clean otherwise a charge may apply).
The house is for a maximum of 6 adults and 3 children.
