Home description

This Finnish log chalet is the ideal 'chill out' zone with stunning views. It is Scandinavian in design with open plan living, dining and kitchen. The lounge has a ceramic floor with underfloor heating, there is a comfortable leather corner couch, TV with DVD player and a beautiful Glass Fire which runs on environmentally friendly Biofuel creating a cosy and romantic ambience. The dining area has a log table and there is a small but well fitted kitchen. The bedroom area has a comfortable double bed with double wardrobe and bedside table. The large sauna suite is tiled and has underfloor heating. There are double showers in a wet room with seating area and separate WC. The sauna is 2m x 2m and has a soapstone sauna stove and stereo making this the ultimate sauna experience (the owners import log buildings and saunas).

This area has many wonderful golf courses as well as one of the best salmon fishing rivers in UK. There are distilleries and castles to visit and lots of outdoor pursuits to enjoy.

Fearnan is situated on the edge of Loch Tay surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland and is ideal for walking, fishing, cycling, water sports of all kinds, horse riding and golfing. Aberfeldy is 9 miles away and is a pleasant market town with a good selection of shops. The area boasts a number of excellent restaurants. There are many golf courses to choose from including a challenging 9 hole course at Kenmore and the very picturesque Taymouth Castle Golf Course. The beach at Kenmore is safe for bathing.
