The Western Australia / Perth Metro Area
Connolly is adjacent to Joondalup, one of the fastest growing cities in Australia. Situated in the northen suburbs and only 25 min drive from Perth city centre. The picturesque swan Valley with its many vineyards and restaurants, will never disappoint! As Perth has some of the best and most beautiful beaches, there is more than enought to do for the sun and water lover!
Western Australia has winter rainfall, thus during the months from May - Sept it can get a bit wet, but temperatures are not unbearable cold. Summer month temperatures are around 28-32 degrees. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen!
Travelling north to the Pinnacles and Monkey Mia (where you can feed Dolphines in shallow water) is absolutely a wonderful and unforgetable experience. Temperatures are a bit higher going up north. Travelling south, it might get a bit cooler. You will regret not visiting Busselton/ Margaret River which is situated among the most beautiful vineyards. Chocolate and cheese factories etc.
Perth / Connolly area
Joondalup has a vibrant, energetic lifestyle. The Lakeside Shopping centre has a great variety of shops and restaurants is currently in process of expanding. Local restaurants and pubs cater for a large diversity of people.
There are Friday night markets in Joondalup City Centre during the months of Nov to March. This gives it a much loved carnival atmosphere.
For the energetic that can't survive without that daily workout, the ARENA is only 5 min away and offers a large gymnasium, indoor olympic pool and several other fitness classes etc.
For the avid golfer, staying at THE PELICANS NEST, it's only 200m walk to the Joondalup Resort (rated Australia's best golf course) with immaculate greens and picturesque gardens. 10 min drive to Carramar golf course.
Feeling like just packing a picnic basket and relaxing, the Neil Hawkins Park is a few minutes away.
Don't miss out on Hillarys where you can shop, enjoy a bite to eat and relax in the sun, while kids enjoy rides and slides at "the Great Escape". Here you can also get up close and personal at "AQWA" with the underwater creatures. A ferry ride to the "must see" Rottnest Island will only perfect your stay!

Fly to Perth, Western Australia. When arriving at either Perth Domestic airport or Perth International airport and you are hiring a vehicle, take Mitchell Freeway North. Making it easier, look for sign on Freeway indicating : Joondalup. Taking a taxi will cost you around AU$60.
