The Western Australia / Perth Metro Area
Perth is known for its beautiful beaches, fantastic nightlife and good climate even through the winter. There are many outdoor activities, too many to mention. If it is outdoors you will probably find it here.
There are many excellent surf breaks and Mettams Pool offers great snorkling. The area is also excellent for beach fishing or off the rocks at Hillarys Harbor or Ocean Reef boat ramp. Catch the ferry for Rottnest Island from Hillarys Boat Harbour. A 5 minute drive will land you at the impressive Joondalup Country Club golf course.
Perth / Mullaloo area
Everything you need is a short walk from the house, the beach is 10 minutes, parks 1-3 minutes, local shopping centre with a supermarket and gourmet deli, cafe, fish & chips, Thai and Chinese restaurants is only a 3 minute walk. Another local shop not much further has an Italian, Japanese restaurant and a fine wine cellar/bottle-shop. Cinema and huge shopping complex with many more restaurants is only a 15 minute walk. If you want go to the heart of the city you can get a bus the next street up and the train ride is 25 minutes.
