Home description

Our Beach House is fully renovated light and bright with a beachy theme. Furniture is of a contempary design and the real wood flooring is lovely. The new kitchen is fitted with quality stainless steel appliances, has loads of space and are large fridge to cater for bigger groups. The new bathroom has a nice granite sink and an extra deep 55cm bath, a spa bath without the bubbles.

The alfresco entertainment area has a lovely slab wood table with cane chairs, bbq and a six seater heated outdoor jacuzzi situated nicely so it looks over the large garden.

There are two tv's, two large 3 seater sofas in the lounge and cable televsion is connected. You also get a free weekly cleaning service. Our staff cleaner will freshen the linen and give the house a good clean once a week.

We have been on vacation too and some holiday houses can lack that comfy home feel. Instead of your lovely big stainless steel kettle you have this small plastic one that needs constant filling. Your bath towels at home a nice and fluffy while hotel ones are thin and small. The list goes on including those lovely couches that look really nice but are incredibly uncomfortable. Or a room that is set up to look nice but you have to move the couch when you get there to see the TV. Been there done that! We used this list as what not to day when preparing a house for holiday makers. There is a large fridge, cordless stainless kettle, 4 slice toaster, top of the range kitchen appliances, enough kitchen gear so you can self cater. The couches are not only large are very good quality and include an ottoman which would be over a metre. The spa is also a really nice one with two recliners a massage chair and is made for 6 people.

The Western Australia / Perth Metro Area

Perth is known for it's beautiful beaches, fantastic nightlife and good climate even through the winter. There are many outdoor activities too many to mention. If it is outdoors you will probably find it here.

Mullaloo is a favourite with locals, wether it is a drink at sunset and the fabulous MBH or a picnic at Mullaloo Beach Park where there are several BBQ's, surf club, two large children's playgrounds and a very large grassed area which is full of people having their Sunday BBQ . These kinds of facilities are dotted along the coast but are not particularly common. Scarborough Beach, Cottesloe, Trigg and Floreat have similar faciliites with the latter three missing the Restaurant/Bar Facilities with sweeping balconies overlooking the Ocean. Scarborough has restaurants and bars but does tend to gear towards the younger crowd with nightclubs rather than the more relaxed setting of the MBH.

Perth / Mullaloo area

There are many excellent surf breaks and Mettams Pool offers great snorkling. The area is also excellent for beach fishing or off the rocks at Hillarys Harbor or Ocean Reef boat ramp. A 5 minute drive will land you at the impressive Joondalup Country Club golf course.

Everything you need is a short walk from the house, the beach is 2 minutes, parks 1-3 minutes, local shopping centre with a supermarket and gourmet deli, cafe, Thai, fish &chips and Chinese restaurant is only a five minute walk. Another local shop not much further has an Italian, Japanese restaurant and a fine wine cellar/bottle-shop. Cinema and huge shopping complex with many more restaurants is only a 10minute walk. If you want go to the heart of the city you can get a bus the next street up and the train ride is 25minutes.

Hillarys Boat Harbor a very popular tourist attraction is a 5 minute drive down the Sunset Coast road or a 15 minute bike ride down the coastal bike paths that meander through the sand dunes. There are many restaurants, a pub, shops, a tiny tots swimming area and a bigger kids entertainment park. The ferry also leaves for the very popular Rottnest Island. There are also whale watching cruises and some deep sea fishing day trips that depart from the harbour.

How to get there

Public transport is available from the next street up where a bus will take you to the local train link. The city is a short 20-25 minute trip from Whitfords train station.
