Our light and bright open plan one bedroom apartment features a modern renovated kitchen with dishwasher and modern expandable tap fittings, modern bathroom with shower, toilet and reverse cycle washing machine/dryer. Reverse cycle air-conditioning blowing hot or cool air something you can't be without in our hotter summer months. Enjoy the queen bed with fresh white linen, 1 flat screen wall mounted TV and a stunning view of a Japanese garden out of the modern drop window. This clean fresh stylish apartment is ideal for singles or couples.

Parking price for Malcolm street

Parking is not included in the rate at Malcolm street. The parking bay is shared between 3 apartments in the complex that are short term apartments. There is a height limit as the car bay is under the building of 2 meters so some 4WD's with roof racks may not fit. You can secure this bay with a payment of $49.00 per week to paid up front at the time of payment for your apartment. Once you have paid this the bay is solely yours for the duration of you stay. It is under cover in a secure locked gate area underneath the building of 45 Malcolm Street.

We provide you with fresh white towels and linen as well as some tea and coffee supplies. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, oven, kettle, toaster, stove and a fridge. There is free wifi internet.

Our apartment and complex is safe and secure with a parking bay that may be available on request. Although Malcolm Street is an older style building it is clean and well maintained. Street level from the main door and about 10 stairs up from the car park below within the complex.

The apartment is walking distance to the Perth CBD and shopping mall precinct. We are a quick 5 min stroll into the City of Perth. With a 5 min stroll in the other direction will take you up to the famous Kings Park

The Transperth airport bus 37 will take you to our door daily.

Formerly an exclusive suburb for wealthy merchants and politicians, it is now part of the inner mixed zone, and has predominantly office blocks which have displaced residential buildings.

There is a high proportion of miners and consultants, and particularly medical specialists, compared to the Perth CBD. Streets such as Colin Street, Ord Street and Outram Steet have significant office and high density residential buildings.

Most retail outlets are located on Hay Street which is the main commercial zone for the suburb, and these are focused on serving the office population.

Closer to the CBD the Harbourtown factory outlet complex located near the eastern edge of the suburb, and the City West complex.

Perth, Perth Metro Area

Take a free city bus, jumping off at attractions like the Perth Cultural Centre, Perth Art Gallery and Swan Bell Tower. Have lunch on the Swan River, watching boats sail past the city skyline. Or pack a picnic and head to the elevated green expanse of Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Wander past the bushland, gardens and lakes and stare over the city, river and Darling Range from scenic vantage points such as the State War Memorial. Take the bus to Cottesloe Beach, where you can swim, snorkel or surf in the clear waters or relax on the terraced lawns beneath the Norfolk Pines. Watch the sun sink into the Indian Ocean from a pub or café along the boulevard. Then head to Northbridge, where you can dine out on an international kaleidoscope of cuisines and explore the many pubs, hotels and nightclubs. Alternatively, see a musical performance at the Perth Concert Hall or a play in the Perth Theatre.

"Amazing location, clean stay and well priced"

Stayed in this short term for 4 weeks. We had no issues during our stay.

Location is excellent with a bus stop just a less than 1 mins walk away. You can take a bus to/from the CBD (edge of Thomas Street to end of Adelaide Terrace) within the free transit zone for free. The Bayswater Rental Perth office is within that FTZ or it is a max 10 mins walk to the Subiaco rental office from the last FTZ stop. Otherwise of course you can walk to/from the CBD or to Northbridge which we chose to do. If you have mobility issues, it is on the ground floor entrance from Malcolm Street but you will need to walk up/down the stairs to get to the rubbish bins and car park.

Apartment was very clean and nicely renovated with space in mind. Everything that is needed is included with a full equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, reverse cycle air con, closet space, wifi and little bits and pieces you may need (eg.numbrella, green shopping tote, extension cords). Bed is comfortable and much better than some mattresses we have slept on in hotels.

Check in and check out was very easy and Larissa was a pleasure to deal with. The key card is an excellent idea and makes your stay so much easier. The price is amazingly low for Perth especially considering the location.
