In Rhône -Alpes , water is everywhere : snow, glaciers , rivers , lakes ... we count on its territory of the three largest lakes in France ( Lake Geneva, Lake Bourget and Lake Annecy ) .

All sports are easily accessible in impressive natural scenery : hiking, biking, and paragliding and canoeing ... Rhône -Alpes is not only the second region of France for the practice of golf, with over 60 courses , but also has the largest ski area in the world and has hosted three times Olympic winter Games.

Art and culture lovers will not be disappointed by the art cities of the region : Lyon, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO , Annecy , Grenoble, Chambéry and Saint -Étienne .

And lastly, foodies and wine will be spoiled for choice at all the local specialties , served along with a Beaujolais or Côtes du Rhône , and to the wealth of famous restaurants that account the region ( including Paul Bocuse, to mention only the best known) .
