An adorable place to stay in the heart of the village. This boutique cottage, just a short stroll to the beach, is seaside chic at its very best. Perfect for families and those wishing to stay by the beach in style.

A gorgeous seaside chic cottage tucked away down a little lane in the beautiful village of Perranuthnoe.

The cottage has been lovingly restored and is steeped in history having once been the cow shed for the local farm!

Beautifully finished to a high spec each room is a delight. The large kitchen dining room is the perfect place for long, lazy breakfasts followed by a move to the sunny lobby to read the papers.

The living room has a cosy wood burner and 32 inch tv and dvd player. There is also wifi.

Upstairs are two wonderful bedrooms and a modern bathroom with walk in shower (it's a rain shower with a hand shower also!). The front bedroom can either be a twin or a large 6ft double (zip link) - there are sea views from this bedroom. The back bedroom has a double bed.

A short stroll to the beach for the day, an ice cream from The Cabin or cake from the Peppercorn Café and then back to Trenow for an al fresco dinner. Then perhaps retire to your cosy living room with your glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove or perhaps even a quick trip around the corner to the fabulous Victoria Inn.

The West Country region

Cornwall, in the far west corner of Great Britain, is a stunning peninsula surrounded by the sea on three sides. The incredible rugged coastline is interspersed with sandy beaches, fishing harbours and secret coves. The Cornish mining, smuggling and fishing history gives a fascinating context to the landscape.

Perranuthnoe

Perranuthnoe is just wonderful. It is a small village with its own large, family friendly beach (just a couple of minutes' walk from your cottage). There are a couple of delightful cafes serving scrumptious cakes, an award winning local pub which is reputedly one of the oldest in Cornwall (literally around the corner) and a gallery or two.

It is just a short (5 minute) drive (or a bit longer coastal walk) to Marazion and the infamous and picturesque St Michael's Mount. There are tonnes of other beaches all within a half hour drive – we recommend Cape Cornwall (St Just), Porthleven, St Ives, Praa Sands and Godrevy.

It truly is the perfect spot.

Since receiving this feedback the driveway at Trenow Cottage has been resurfaced with gravel. This means that during wet weather there is no longer any problem with mud and the driveway is looking great.

All towels are freshly laundered prior to arrival.
