Barn | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4

Set in the peaceful village of Perranuthnoe, this converted barn sits overlooking the pretty village church with lovely views over the sea and headland. Originally built in the 1860s to house the Rector's pony and trap, an arrangement that lasted until the beginning of the last century. More recently used by a local farmer, but with the passage of time fell into disrepair and began to tumble down before being restored in 2004. Split level and unique, this conversion has been completed to a high standard with many features to make any stay a special one. Entered by a hallway from which there is a cloakroom and good sized utility room with washer, tumble dryer and freezer. After a day exploring there is space to drop off the beach stuff and heaters to dry wet coats after an autumn walk. Stairs lead up to a beautiful bright and airy oak floored vaulted lounge/diner with modern kitchen area to the rear. The whole room benefits from velux windows to make the most of the high ceilings and original barn windows including a lovely Juliette balcony offering distant views over the bay and Cudden Point. Sensitively furnished with a large sofa, chairs and centrepiece wood burner. French doors lead onto a good sized decking area also benefitting from the far reaching views both to the sea and the rolling fields beyond. From the deck, steps provide access to the garden.

Downstairs are two well equipped and beautifully presented bedrooms. Both have en-suite bathrooms; one with double shower, the other with bath and shower.
