Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5

Trewin is a very pretty traditional stone cottage that nestles in a conservation area in the heart of this lovely unspoilt Cornish village and is just a five minute walk to one of the best beaches in West Cornwall. Dating back to the mid 1800's, Trewin blends contemporary with character and retains a wealth of old charm features such as stripped pine doors with latches, low white painted beams, a wood burning stove, original wood floorboards in the bedrooms and a host of charming additions, such as limited edition prints ,by local artists. Trewin also benefits from a secluded and very pretty south facing rear courtyard garden which is accessed from a double glazed casement door in the lounge and is perfect for either that sunshine breakfast in the morning or a family BBQ in the evening. The addition of a large shed to the rear of the cottage for wet suit and surf board storage together with complimentary deck chairs and windbreaks for the beach, completes this lovely little holiday property. The village of Perranuthnoe has thankfully changed very little over the years and really consists of a handful of cottages grouped around an ancient church (circa 1160) and a brilliant and award winning village pub/restaurant (The Victoria Inn). The long crescent shaped stretch of golden sand is one of the best beaches in West Cornwall and certainly one of the best kept secrets as it is rarely packed even in the height of summer. On the short walk to the beach you will pass the Cowshed Art Gallery plus two Cafes both serving really good home made food and delicious pasties which are ideal as you just do not have to move off the beach until it is that time for that cool sun downer back in the comfort of Trewin Cottage!
