The West Country region

Why go abroad when you can come to Cornwall?!

Dramatic coastline, miles of sandy beaches, picturesque harbours and villages, rugged countryside and a fascinating heritage – Cornwall has something to offer in every season.

A mecca for surfers, Cornwall has dozens of surfing beaches each with their own unique character. Why not try a lesson from one of our surf schools? Cornwall's most popular beaches are lifeguarded throughout the summer, and with many beaches stretching for miles with soft golden sands it's a great place for families to play and relax.

Cornwall is also a walkers' paradise, with over 2,000 miles of public footpaths, including the famous South West Coast Path, amongst other routes and trails. With nearly 1/3 of the county designated as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will never be short of incredible sights in Cornwall, from natural phenomenon such as the bizarre Cheesewring on the wilds of Bodmin Moor, to the causeway at St Michael's Mount or even catching a glimpse of seals lazing on the beach at Mutton Cove!

Perranporth

Perranporth Golf Course is an 18 hole links course with spectacular views over Perranporth's famous 3 mile beach and coastline. This challenging and well maintained championship course also offers coaching and a bar and restaurant – what more could a golfer ask for?! Perranporth Golf Course is just a few minutes from the town itself, with its shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention of course the beach! There is also quick access onto the South West Coast Path if you want to explore the coastline.
