Step inside this gorgeous little gypsy caravan and find yourself transported to another world! Close to nature, away from the modern day distractions of TV, wifi and information overload, a glamping holiday in this most unique and romantic of settings will leave you feeling truly revitalised. So turn your mobiles off, pour a glass of wine and watch the stars come out as the evening draws in...

Glamping gives you a chance to experience the best of camping, without the worst! No wrestling un unruly tent into submission, no mud in your sleeping bags and no leaks if it rains! Instead, arrive to a beautifully restored caravan, lovingly furnished and finished, warm and dry, and pop the kettle on. Situated within its own wooded grounds featuring a 1300ft miniature train track (a truly unusual feature!) with just one neighbour - the Ooh La La shepherd's hut - Poppet is the perfect accommodation choice if you really want to get away from it all. Outside furniture is supplied for alfresco dining. There is a large pond with ducks and fish so care must be taken with young children. Perranporth is less than a mile away with its magnificent beach, numerous village shops, bars, cafes and within easy reach of many tourist attractions on the north and south coast of Cornwall.

Shower Room: Built separately but close to the hut and is shared between Poppet and the neighbouring shepherd's hut. Fully insulated and all mod-cons fitted within a classic van! Instant lighting as you enter, heated towel rail, curved shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. Cooking and chill-out area: A glass fronted timber lodge with 2 ring gas hob, beer fridge, toaster, kettle, cupboard, workspace area, seating and TV overlooking the garden. Cooking utsensils and a second WC are also provided in this area. A table top BBQ is also supplied. All separate units are well lit for evening and night time use and linked by level, paved areas.

The West Country region

Why go abroad when you can come to Cornwall?!

Dramatic coastline, miles of sandy beaches, picturesque harbours and villages, rugged countryside and a fascinating heritage – Cornwall has something to offer in every season.

A mecca for surfers, Cornwall has dozens of surfing beaches each with their own unique character. Why not try a lesson from one of our surf schools? Cornwall's most popular beaches are lifeguarded throughout the summer, and with many beaches stretching for miles with soft golden sands it's a great place for families to play and relax.

Cornwall is also a walkers' paradise, with over 2,000 miles of public footpaths, including the famous South West Coast Path, amongst other routes and trails. With nearly 1/3 of the county designated as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will never be short of incredible sights in Cornwall, from natural phenomenon such as the bizarre Cheesewring on the wilds of Bodmin Moor, to the causeway at St Michael's Mount or even catching a glimpse of seals lazing on the beach at Mutton Cove!

Rose is a small and peaceful hamlet just a few minutes from Perranporth, with its famous 3 mile stretch of sandy beach and many shops, cafes and restaurants, making this the perfect spot if you like to get away from it all, but without being too far from the amenities of the town!
