The Sea Cave, Perranporth accommodation is the perfect location for a self catering holiday in Cornwall. The beautiful beach offers some of the best surfing in Britain and is also a children's paradise with its rock pools and golden sand. Perranporth beach is life guarded by the RNLI from April - October (10:00 - 17:00). The town offers many cool surf shops where wet suits and surfboards can be hired or bought. It also boasts a museum, boating lake, pubs and restaurants. If you want to go further afield during your stay, Perranporth's central location makes it an ideal base for touring Cornwall.
The Sea Cave accomodation in Perranporth is located on the North coast of Cornwall just 10 miles South of the popular holiday resort Newquay and 25 miles North of picturesque St Ives. The self catering holiday apartment is positioned approximately 250m back from the headland car park on Tywarnhayle Road, Perranporth, Cornwall, TR6 0DX
The Sea Cave holiday let / apartment can sleep up to 6 adults, spread over two floors, making it an ideal beach retreat for families, couples and older groups. The apartment has now been made baby friendly with optional features such as; high chairs, baby bath and stair gates.
This Perranporth accommodation offers an excellent alternative to chalet goers & those who usually opt for Perranporth's camping sites and caravan parks. If you are after a quieter scene, more of your home creature comforts with closer access to the main beach and town, the Sea Cave in Perranporth is just what you have been looking for. If bed and breakfast is usually your preference, Perranporth has a great many restaurants and cafes which could be used as a nice alternative in combination with the Sea Cave.
Bedroom 1 - Double
Room has views across adjacent buildings & gardens. Room contains a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside draws/ table
Bedroom 2 - Twin (Double in winter)
Room has views across the Perranporth and the surrounding Cornish countryside. Room contains two standard single beds, wardrobe, drawers and bedside draws/ table.
All bed linen is supplied for the double, twin and sofa bed during the summer lets
Large corner sofa bed which can comfortably sleep two people. The sofa does not restrict passage through the living room when extended. There is a 37" flat screen TV with DVD player attached and a selection of DVD's. Laptops and music players can be connected to the TV through HDMI or RGB and 3.5mm jack leads (supplied). Wireless devises can also use a dedicated high speed wireless broadband connection when inside the apartment. The main digital TV channels are also available. A washing machine is included in the apartment for convenience under the stairs.
The kitchen has been immaculately finished and includes all the usual kitchen appliances with the exception of a dishwasher. Storage for up to four surfboards is available (max height 7"6').
Comprises underfloor heating, heated towel rail, drying area for wetsuits, Dehumidifier, and a very large shower including electric and mixer feeds. Bathroom towels are supplied but are not for beach use.
Upstairs Hallway and Landing
Includes a desk which could be used for work and a retractable rack for drying clothes
The Sea Cave is joined by gardens front and back. Access to the front garden is not permitted however the rear garden may be used to dry cloths and store surf boards, body boards, wind breaks,buckets and spades. This garden is shared with the neighboroughs and therefore items should be kept tidy
Change over day is on the Saturday. Occupants may arrive no earlier than 2pm and leave the following Saturday no later than 11am. Occupants estimated time of arrival and departure is requested the day before on the relevant Friday.
Unfortunately due to the elevated position of the property above the road it has not been possible to make provisions for disabled access.
Upon request a baby bath can be placed in the bathroom, high chair in the dinning area and stair gates attached to the stairs all at no extra cost.
On street free parking is available along parts of Tywarnhayle road and Droskyn Way (which runs parallel). The Headland Car Park can also be used however a pay and display system is now in operation. Always read signs for information on parking restrictions.
The Sea Cave holiday let accommodation is in a residential family orientated location and therefore it is not possible to let the accommodation to youngsters who's energy levels are no doubt much higher than those that live in the adjacent areas and for this we apologise (young couples are exempt from this rule). The accommodation requirements are:
All male or female groups must be 25 and over
Sleeps maximum of 6
Television / Music to be turned down after 9pm
Noise should be kept to a minimum after 11pm
Absolutely no smoking
Photocopies of passports / ID cards are required for all occupants at the time of booking
Originals will be checked upon arrival
Baby & Toddler Safety Features
A number of features have been added to the Sea Cave to make the stay for young families easier. These features include:
Stair gates (top and bottom)
Kitchen latches for cupboard doors, drawers, fridge and freezer
Low level landing light
Electric socket protectors
We are promoters of sustainable tourism. A grey water system which collects water from the shed roof at the top of the garden is used the toilet. There are also water saving devises fitted to the main shower and energy saving lighting installed throughout. Upon request and at no additional cost to you we will pay to carbon offset for your holiday (estimated travel, electric & water usage). If requested this will be actioned after your final payment for your holiday has cleared. You will be forwarded an email showing the estimated carbon emitted for your stay, the amount paid to offset and the amount of woodland which will be planted as a result. This scheme is operated by the UK's Woodland Trust. Please do an internet search to find out more about the scheme - remember offseting is not as good as using less.
