Well known for its wines, the region has plenty of chateaux to visit for wine tastings.
The apartment is situated within a unique complex that has all the facilities you require from the swimming pools,bar and restaurant, to tennis courts and shop. It comfortably sleeps 6, has 2 double bedrooms, one with shower and vanity unit en suite ,separate bathroom,( with shower and bath ) large lounge with sofa bed open plan kitchen and toilet with hand basin. Balcony for alfresco dining.

Both bedrooms have wardrobes, chest of drawers,bedside tables etc. The television receives English (terrestrial & freeview)channels. There is a travel cot ,high chair and removable bed rail for smaller children. There is secure car parking and cars are not allowed in the grounds making it totally child friendly. The apartment is spacious,light and airy and ideal for adults and families alike.

All the apartments are dotted around well tended gardens and swimming pools.. None of the buildings are more than 3 storeys and are individually painted in the Languedoc colours ranging from terraccotas to pastel pinks & creams. The many palm trees and shrubs give it a real mediterranean feel.

Towels are not provided but can be hired for a nominal charge by arrangement with the owner

The cost of thorough changeover cleaning is included in the price and your beds will be made up for you
but you are requested to strip the beds and leave the apartment clean and tidy as is reasonably possible on departure.
Conditions
Deposit 25% payble on return of the booking form, balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to occupancy. Separate security cheque( £100) ,refundable 7 days after vacating apartment.

Perpignan is Catalonia's most northern town and is the last large town in France before the spanish border.The region has a mediterranean climate with temperatures reaching 30+ in the summer months. The foothills of the pyrenees are very much in evidence giving the scenery stark contrasts between miles of vineyardsand long sandy beaches
The season normally lasts until the end of October.
The Perpignan / Canet Plage area
From the old Canet village to the more modern Canet plage the is always something to do .from the market stalls along the beachfront on saturday evenings to the casino overlooking the sea. There is an aquarium at the large marina for the children to visit,plentyof shops and boutiques for mum to browse and lots of bars and restaurants for dad. There is a tourist train that runs from outside the complex to the beach at regular intervals in high season, the last train is a midnight so dads, there is no need to drive ! There is also a golf course at St Cyprien,the next town along the coast road There are a few night clubs for the teenagers( well away from any residences !).The many festivals and events are listed on my website.

The apartment was well furnished with all you need for a self catering holiday. There was more than enough room for the 5 of us and such a good location to go out and about. Everything is near by - swimming pool, beaches, supermarkets, places to visit. Would definitely make a return trip. |

We found the photos of the apartment grossly misleading. The bedrooms looked bright and the matching bedlinen very inviting. The reality was very different. The bedlinen was old, tired and shabby.... more |
