The apartment with a roof terrace, is located in an old town house on the third and fourth floor, which has been sensitively converted into two apartments and has been fully renovated with all modern conveniences. The house comes with a garage for a small car, which is particularly useful being located in the historic part of the city centre. Yet, it is situated in a quiet, typical narrow side street with all its charm but conveniently located in the city centre with all that has to offer. If you intend to use the garage please enquire availability before.

Mountains 40 mins , beach 15 mins, Spain 20 mins.

Tastefully renovated, the apartment, on the 3rd and top floor, comprises of one double bedroom with en-suite and a double bedroom on the mezzanine floor with shower and toilet facility.

On the third floor is the sitting room, which is beautifully furnished with large screen TV leading onto an open kitchen with all modern facilities including dishwasher, microwave oven and the island kitchen with electric cooking hobs and a special built in stainless steel cooking plate. There is one double bedroom with en-suite with bath and a separate toilet

Steps lead up to the top floor where there is a double bed on the mezzanine floor, large shower unit done in tadlakt, separate toilet and an office/sitting area. Large glass doors open onto the roof terrace with a sun umbrella, table to seat 6 guests and a gas barbecue.

This duplex has been completely renovated and fitted with modern high quality fixtures and fittings. However, there are plenty of exposed old brickwork to give the duplex character and history.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

Perpignan is one of the sunniest places in France. The summer season in Perpignan is delightfully warm, with average temperatures in the low 30's (°C) in June, July and August. Perpignan experiences temperatures above 12°C, even during winter.

Perpignan is the capital of Pyrenees-Orientales the southern most region of the Languedoc Roussillon. Perpignan is located near the Mediterranean Sea in the south of France and is only about 30kms from the Spain. Perpignan retains a distinct Spanish flavour, as it was once the capital of the kingdom of Majorca and later Catalonia's second-largest city after Barcelona. In addition to Perpignan's historic past, it is now a very popular tourist resort because it has so much to offer.


Located within easy reach of the Pyrenees Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, Perpignan offers a variety of attractions and activities. These include trekking in the mountains, rafting in the rivers, swimming in the lakes, visiting ancient cities, towns, villages, thermal springs, abbeys, cathedrals and castles, notably the famous mountain fortresses popularly known as Cathar Castles. The other main attraction is the seaside with its wonderful large sandy beaches and numerous water sports facilities.

Perpignan is a perfect base for day trips along the coast, to the mountains or to the interior to visit the historical sites. Outside every historical building are freestanding signs with information in French, Spanish and English.

The city is also host to the famous International Festival of Photojournalism in August and September. During these months there are also weekly music concerts in all the main squares where visitors can go free of charge. The proximity to Spain has also led to a plethora of gourmet restaurants being established in the city taking advantage of the best from both Spain and France cuisine.

"If you want to spend great time in Perpignan - look no further!"

A very comfortable, beautifully furnished apartment in the very heart of Perpignan - a perfect base for exploring French Catalonia. It also comes with a garage - invaluable in the town centre, although a small car is recommended as the street is very narrow. However a very reasonably priced car park is only a few minutes pleasant stroll from the apartment. But above all its wonderful owners will make your stay there even more pleasant and comfortable. We have spent a great week in Perpignan and the kids are already asking to go back! ;-) We would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you!!!
