Villa St Genevičve is one of three brand new, independent and spacious villas set in a private location, close to the bustling town of Pernes les Fontaines. The owner is a local farmer who still grows strawberries and melons on the land surrounding the villas. This means you not only benefit the calm and rural setting, but are also treated to an array of locally grown fruit and vegetables as the season progresses! The Villa has 3 light and airy bedrooms (2 double one twin) 2 bathrooms, large living/dining area and fully fitted integrated kitchen. Everything is pristine and squeaky clean. The owner has chosen beautiful bright fabrics and used traditional Provencal style to decorate the interiors, but has also gone for useful luxuries such as air-conditioning.
Despite being one of 3 villas, you certainly won’t feel cramped by the neighbours as each has 2000m of private garden, a large terrace, a garage and driveway. All three share the beautiful swimming pool which is securely fenced and gated and only a short walk from your villa.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region
When you’re staying at Villa St Genevičve, you’re in the heart of Provence, surrounded by stunning countryside, yet only 3km from the local town of Pernes, where you’ve got a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
If you like to get out and about in Provence, this apartment is surrounded by the mountains of Mount Ventoux and the Dentelles, the Luberon and the Alpilles, an environment perfect for all outdoor activities, especially riding bicycles, mountain biking, hiking and golf.
Further a field but within easy reach, you have the attractions of some of the South of France’s best known towns: Avignon is just 25 minutes away and Aix en Provence, Orange, Marseille and the Carmargue National Park are all under an hours drive.
If you like a tipple, a well-trodden wine route starts close by. Vaqueras, Gigondas, Cotes du Ventoux and Cahteauneuf du Pape are all well known great wines of the region and are all within a thirty minute drive (Just make sure you have decided who’s driving back!)
Pernes le Fontaines area
The town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, just 15km away, is famous for it's numerous waterways and mills, for its many restaurants along the canal banks and above all for its antique shops. There are no fewer than 350 "Antiquaires", which makes it second only to Paris in the antiques trade!
How to get there
By Car - Pernes le Fontaines is situated approximately 20 minutes drive south-east of Avignon, 15 minutes north of Salon-de-Provence and 30 minutes to the east of Arles
By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 50 minutes drive away. From 2005, there will be new budget flights operating to Nimes with Ryanair from both Luton and Liverpool. Easyjet also fly to Nice which is a 2 hour drive and Marseille which is a 50 minute drive.
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 minutes away

Further details indoors: As Villa St Genevičve is a brand new villa, purpose built for holidaymakers, it’s very well equipped. It’s all on ground level and the gravel driveway (ample parking for 2 cars) leads up to the garage (1 car) and entrance to the villa The fully fitted new kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and pretty much everything else you could need for up to 6 people. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room, with French windows out onto the terrace and garden. As the Villa was built specifically for holidaymakers, there are 2, fully tiled modern shower rooms, one with a WC and also a separate WC. If you visit during the summer months, you’ll probably spend most of you time outside, enjoying the garden, which has a children’s swing, or relaxing under a parasol by the swimming pool.
Further details outdoors: The open-plan living and dining area has plenty of space for the dining table and chairs, although for most of the year you’ll probably want to eat outside on the large terrace that runs along 2 sides of the house and allows you to choose to sit in the Provencal sun or shade.
If you visit during the summer months, you’ll probably spend most of you time outside, enjoying the garden, which has a children’s swing, or relaxing under a parasol by the swimming pool.

Included in the rental prices are water, electricity (metered during the winter months) and tax de sejour. Bedding and towels can be hired from owner at the rate of 10 euros per person per week.
The owners asks for a 'caution' (security damage deposit) of 300 euro upon arrival which will be returned to you at the end of your holiday, less the cost of any damage or breakages.
The owner can provide a cot and high chair upon request, small animals are accepted and smoking is permitted.
Please arrive after 4pm on day of arrival and leave before 10am on your day of departure.
There’s plenty of car-parking space.
