Guestbook for La Petite Noix
It was perfect. Exactly what we had hoped for. The gite itself was great - rustic but comfortable - but the thing that really made it for us was the garden. Nice garden furniture, a BBQ, and space to chill out in the shadow of the apple tree. It never felt like we were sharing the garden, even though there was a family with 3 kids in the larger gite. There are some great restaurants in the vicinity (maison de la truffe - is that the right name?? - is well worth splashing out for) but more often than not we sat in the garden and ate BBQ-cooked food and drank wine until we could eat and drink no more.... Lastly, Sydney and Audrey were really great - everything from lending us bikes to administering first aid! highly recommended - thanks for a great holiday! Dan & Imo, 15.08.07
Hello Audrey & Sydney Just a brief word on our most enjoyable stay in Sorges. We would like to thank you for your hospitality and friendship and the comforting welcome you gave us. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be back to see you all!! Thanks once again. Gwen & Ian Bunting, 21.09.07
Dear Audrey and Sidney Thank you very much for helping us to have a lovely holiday. We were really pleased with the cottage and your helpfulness and friendliness were a real bonus. Once again, many thanks for making our holiday very special. Glenice & Nick, 23.10.07
We would just like to thank both you, Sydney and of course Sophie for the most wonderful holiday. The gite was everything that we could have wished for and your hospitality really made our time with you exceptionally enjoyable. Daniel spent the whole day today telling his little friends all about the swimming pool and of course about Sophie and her quad!!! Your little piece of France is beautiful and somehow I dont think that this will be the last time that you see us (dont know if that is good or bad!!!) Anyway thanks again and we really hope to see you all soon -Tina, Paul and Daniel (31.08.08)
Dear Audrey & Sydney, Thank you for a wonderful week! Cafe de la Place was fantastic - had a super last meal there. So sorry we could not accept your offer to stay longer, but would love to come back one day..... Thank you again - with best wishes, Catherine & Peter, 06.09.08
