There is an informal table for 8 in the kitchen and a formal table for 6 in the drawing room. In addition to the drawing room and kitchen, there is a scullery / store and a boiler / drying room with toilet and washbasin on the ground floor. The kitchen has a huge traditional stone fireplace and a beamed ceiling. The kitchen is well equipped and all the 'white goods' are new. The cooker is electric and there are two fridge/ freezers. There are French windows to the rear garden in both the kitchen and the drawing room. The bathroom has both bath and shower, plus bidet. The whole feeling of the house is very much of space and light, with comfortable furniture and tasteful decoration.

Further details outdoors

The garden is very private with hedges surrounding the orchard at the front, and lovel rural views at the back. The best feature is the huge lime tree which gives shade to the back garden.....and supports the swinging garden seat. There is also a lot of garden furniture available and a stone BBQ. There is no swimming pool (hurrah), but it is lovely to have a dip at the waterfall at Boissiere d'Ans or from the little sandy beach in Cubjac.

"Well equipped house in a great location, great value for money"

We stayed in La Maison de Maitre for a week and had a wonderful time.
We were 4 adults and 2 children and the house was suitable comfortably for all of us.
The house is very big with a great bathroom and two large sleeping rooms for adults and a room children with bunk bed.
The location is great for a trip in the Dorgdon region, located less than 1 hour drive from all the main attractions.
The house is private with it's own parking lot and a private yard, although the house is not new and fency it supplies very good value for money, and we highly recommend it.
The owner is extremely nice and hospitable.
