Home description
This property is a rustic style home approximately 4km from the village of periana, built in a peacefull area with friendly neighbours. The property has two bedrooms with a courtyard garden and private pool. There is a large roof terrace which has super views of the surrounding countryside and is great for sundowners at sunset. You will experience the splendour of real Spain here and put stress to bed for a week or two.However you are less than thirty minutes from the coast and all that has to offer from fine dining, endless shopping or just lazing on the beach.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Periana is located high up above Lake Vinuela (560meters above sea level). There are great views of the lake from the town hall there and from the drive up to the house which is 5 mins by car. There are the Alhama and Tejeda mountain ranges behid the property which make a great back drop. Periana is famouse for it's olive oil and peaches especially. There are a wide variety of villages & towns to visit within easy driving from the house such as Nerja, Frigliana, Riogordo, Colemenar, & Comares. Torre Del Mar is the nearest coastal resort suitable for all types including those avid naturists where there is a stretch of beach designated for this type of bathing.
Periana / Cortijo Blanco area
Periana has many little shops ,restaurants, & bars to browse in. They hold their annual fiestas in May and August & the bars & restaurants spill out into the streets around this time. Horse riding and walking is very popular in this area & there are plenty of places to visit & explore around the area.
How to get there
You can fly into malaga Airport, take Autovia towards Motril and exit at 272 Velez Malaga. Follow signs to Alhama and eventually you will see Periana Signposted.This will take you round by Lake Vinuela. This takes around 1 hour from airport. A range of airlines fly here Like Monarch, Easyjet, and Thomas cook plus many more. You can also fly into Granada airport where Ryan Air do good fares into. Please contact owner for directions from here.You should expect this journey to take around 1 hour 10 mins. CAR HIRE is essential from both these airports. You can try www.carjet.co.uk from either airport or also as an alternative try www.malagacarhire.com from malaga.

Please Note: There is also a car port which is ideally suited to only small cars no larger than a Ford Focus and the turn is fairly tight but there is sufficient parking at the back of the property as you approach it.

Please note: The pool is maintained on a weekly basis. The pool also has a cover, Please feel free to cover over the pool when not in use to prevent any dust in the air falling into the pool and settling. This area of Spain can be very dusty in the warmer months.
Conditions
To secure your booking a non- returnable deposit of £100 is required. The balance is payable 6 weeks before your arrival. In the case of there being less than 6 weeks between booking and arrival then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Changover days can be flexible. Please ask owner for details.

This property has been well restored. It is very peacefull here and great to come back to at the end of a hard day touring. we will definitely be back.
We spent one day down at the beach in nerja and it was packed. We couldnt wait to get back to this house where it is so peacefull and just relax by the pool.We would love to come back here.
