Home description

Villa Casa Blanca benefits from its own private pool,. Leading from the living room is a spacious terrace with stunning mountain and in the distance sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine "al fresco". With two double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. The village amenities are few minutes walk where you will find shops, cafés,bars and restaurants. Ideal for those who wish to stay close to amenities of a village without the need to drive at night.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Axarquia area

Lots of white washed villages in this country area of high mountains sweeping hills with hidden plateaus, famed olive routes & wine routes or just enjoy stopping for an impromptu pick-nick.

Coast & Beach

Torre del Mar is a typical Spanish resort very popular with people from Madrid, it’s a typical seaside town with lovely renovated gardens and esplanade for day or evening walks. There are excellent beaches, which during the high season have many sports areas for children, these are safe and have adult keepers.

There are plenty of restaurants from typical Spanish also many European kitchens to cater for all tastes including vegetarian.

The main shopping mall is called "EL INGENIO” which has a real steam power engine made in UK (no steam now). The mall is a typical modern shopping area aircon, cafes food hall, hypermarket and many fashionable shops.

Bowling ideal for all is situated next to Dunnes stores in the shopping Mall

Opposite Dunnes stores is the Water Park great fun for all the family, can be very busy in the high season but safe and fun for the kids.

Day trips

New for 2008 following 2007s success full bookings I now offer the following service.

A drive out service for clients who do not drive, day visit to Granada, Sierra Navada, Sevllie,Cordoba or Rhonda or just a drive around the area to see local villages, Comares, Alhambra de Granada,Malaga a much underrated City.

An ideal day trip to see some of Andalucia`s jewels,

There are 2 excellent 18-hole golf courses nearby, Bavaria Golf, 20 mins by car (tel 0034 952 555 015) & Club Anoret 30 mins (tel 0034 952 404 000)


Periana area

Periana is situated 58 kilometres from Malaga and 28 kilometres from the coast at Torre del Mar, at an altitude of 547 metres.slopping down giving great vistes of the lake & mountains. It lies within the area of Axarquia (county) on the scenic route of Olive Oil and Mountains, and has a population of 3,500.

The village is famed for its peaches and olives, which you will see as you, drive up to Periana and the surrounding fields of this area. During the summer a peach festival is held also there are several fiestas including flamenco music, which is pure Andalucian, do not be surprised if you come across impromptu singers in local bars a very refreshing experience.

During festivals all the cafes and bars spill over in the streets and the main street is closed to traffic, normally a children's fair area and stalls are scattered along the streets and festive lights with a firework display normaly at midnight, so no early bedtimes on these days.Also many of the hamlets and villages hold fiestes throughout the year with there own speciality products ie., cherries,olive oil and arts and crafts.

Periana is very much a farming village , slow relaxed nothing is done in a rush

You can fly into malaga Airport,
This takes around 45 mins from airport.please note Malaga Airport has got major bulding works, in the high season and holidays can be very very busy.

CAR HIRE is essential from both these airports, however arrangements can be made for pick up and drop off for none car drivers, only available for up to 4 persons, orTaxi cost from Malaga aprox 70 euros one way dependent on time of arrival.

Village taxi can be arranged for party of 5 or more please ask.

The house is furnished to be light airy, modern in style with large plasma TV (42 inch) connected to sky satellite and plenty of DVDs, cds and books. All rooms have either patio sliding doors or full-length glass doors, which flood the rooms with light. All windows have mosquito netting and shutters.

Pool size 6 meters x 3 meters.............. 1.5 depth

Aircon is in salon and main bedroom only not in the other 2 bedrooms

Further details outdoors:
The house has 3 terrace areas, the main terrace is just off the salon and is furnished as an outside room with sofa and seating, it also has shades which can be rolled out to cover the entire area very handy when its to hot. The pool terrace is at the rear of the house and has outside dining table with six chairs and BBQ also has sunshades and beach chairs. The third terrace is on the roof of the house from here you can see unrestricted views over the entire area but it can get very hot, a new addition is the covered pugola on the roof which will give you shade.

The pool has a small ladder as in large public pools, this can be a problem for some.

A 'Welcome Pack' will be provided for you upon your arrival at the premises.

The rental fee,includes the provision of all services including electricity,clean linen and towels, plus beach towels.During colder months wood for burner.

Smoking is not allowed in the premises but plenty of space outside.

Pets are not allowed in the premises without prior agreement.

We reserve the right to refuse any rental application at our discretion Please be aware that you take full responsibility during your stay for the safety of children and noneswimmers at the pool.

During the summer season water is at a premium in Andalucia and we would ask you to bear this in mind when using water. At times there may be water cut offs beyond our control.

Due to increase in baggage costs I offer all " towels both household and beach ".

Shops are very close for toileterys so you need not bring these, saving valuable baggage allowance.

Conditions

£100 deposit required to complete the booking (balance paid on arivel in euros). If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50%) are refunded.

To book please send email requesting the dates , with your name address the number in your party and contact telephone number and how you wish to pay. I will send a contract with all these details on.

The rental period will commence at 4:30pm on day of arrival and the premises must be vacated by 11:00am on day of departure. Baggage can be left early if your arrivel is before 16.30 am.

Breakages or damage to the property during a clients stay.. security deposite of £150 to cover any such breakages returned within 4 weeks of clients departure

Casa Blanca is the perfect place for a relaxing luxary family holiday.

We always holidayed in Greece, but have now found a little piece of heavne in Andalucia.

The house is perfectly equipped and the loaction with the views takes some beating !

Kids loved having a pool and where hardly out of it. We loved the sunsets on the min terrace --- awesome.

Can not recommend Casa Blanca and Johns hospitality highly enough----- although you really have to stay here to apprciate fully. Thanks John for a great holiday.
