The Acacia Apartment is situated in the heart of Pereybere, a very popular beach resort area located on the North coast of Mauritius. The apartment has a surface area of about 45 square metres and can accommodate 2 persons. An additional bed can be provided upon request at a nominal fee.

Fully furnished and nicely decorated, the apartment has one air-conditioned bedroom with a double bed, a spacious sitting / dining room and a fully equipped open kitchen including microwave and cooking utensils, safe deposit box and TV with digital channels.

The Mauritius North Coast/Grand Baie region

Grand Bay & Pereybere - Grand Bay, the main resort of Mauritius is the one "must see" beach village. With its numerous hotels and bars, specialist cuisine restaurants and snacks, fashion boutiques etc as well as a host of tropical resort amenities such as big game fishing, outer-islands trips, under-water walking etc, Grand Bay is indeed a very popular attraction and a must for visitors.

At night, Grand Bay becomes truly alive and activity does not die down under the early hours of the morning. Only a couple of miles further north along the coast lies the village of Pereybere with its very popular public beach.

The beach itself is as good if not better than Grand Bay and seems to attract a larger proportion of the sea lovers.

Pereybere / Cap Malheureux area

The village of Pereybere offers a selection of bars, restaurants, pharmacy, cyber cafe, SPA and shops which are all within easy walking distance from Acacia Apartment. Vegetables, fruits sellers and lots of food hawkers are the best attractions of the village.

There is plenty to do in Pereybere with its situation so close to the sea. You can go para sailing and really take in the beautiful lagoon, then there is always the diving and snorkelling as there is a wealth of marine life and corals to discover. Boat trips, catamaran trips to outer islands, inland excursions, all available at reasonable prices.

The nearby village of Grand Bay can be easily reached by public transport. (5 minutes by bus) The bus stop is situated just in front of Acacia Apartment.

5 minute taxi/bus ride to the quaint fishing village of Cap Malheureux, where you can buy fresh fish from local fishermen.

But if all this seems a bit much for you why not just relax ad take in the beautiful beaches, warm sunshine and lovely turquoise seas.
