The Mauritius North Coast/Grand Baie region
The Ground Baie region is one of the most popular tourist areas in Mauritius. It is home to many pubs, restaurants and several nightclubs.
During the day you can enjoy the beautiful beaches or explore the country with one of the many excursions.
The Pereybere area
Péreybère is a small cosy town in the north of Mauritius, at about 3km from Grand Baie. It has a nice sandy beach, where you can enjoy several activities such as water sports, beachchairs rental, snacks and fresh fruits.
Most businesses are located on the main road, just across the beach.
Several local tour operators offer wonderful activities, including boat trips, diving excursion and tours around the island.
