The Coastal Montenegro / Boka Kotorska Fjord region
Perast is a picturesque and historic town, located in the Bay of Kotor and is a UNESCO protected world heritage site. There are two Islands off the mainland; The Lady of the Rock and the Orthodox Monastery, with visits to the Island arranged daily by the locals. Perast is close to the town of Kotor – an old 'fortress city' now filled with many cafe's, bars, restaurants and shops.

Several festivals occur in Perast during the summer months including the Regatta in July and Fashinada or 'throwing of the rock' in August. Visit the Tourist information desk in Kotor for further information.

Montenegro Airlines fly to Tivat (Montenegro) - 20min drive to Perast from Airport British Airways fly to Dubrovnik (Croatia)- 1.5hr Drive from Dubrovnik to Perast Ferries go to Bar (Montenegro) - 40min drive from Bar to Perast
Podgorica 2hr drive to Perast Car Hire is recommended

Apartment Siena is perfectly located at Sea level, we avoided any climbing up stairs with our luggage unlike our last trip here. Had a lovely time and it was great to meet Suzana Ian and Brenda - UK
