Individually designed, unique villa boasting high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams throughout. 20 feet long wall of glass incorporating large patio doors that open onto private terrace, retractable awning, landscaped gardens and large, private pool. TV, DVD, CD & IPOD dock. Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with fantastic views across the garden onto a nature reserve. Fully equipped luxury kitchen with induction hob, microwave, oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer. 2 spacious bedrooms, double master with en-suite and a twin room and 2nd shower room.
Secure parking with electric gates and video entry system. Ideal for golfers or for family holidays.
Disabled access and wide doors throughout. Grab handles by the toilet and in the level access shower are fitted.
Although we do restrict the villa to parties of four, a separate single fold out bed can be made available for parties where the double bed is inappropriate. Prior arrangement is required.
A cot and high-chair can be arranged for a small additional charge.

The villa has some subtle disabled adaptations. The front gate, the villa itself and the terrace are all wheelchair accessible. The doors to the bedrooms and the en-suite are wider than normal, and the level entry shower has a safety grab rail. There is also a rail by the toilet.
As well as a normal ladder, the pool has steps for easy access. The clubhouse and restaurant have lifts to all floors and there are lowered kerbs all around the resort.
However, if you have a disability, we would advise discussing your requirements with the owner, as, for example the kitchen is not specially adapted and some people, such as those with complete paraplegia, may need more adaptations than those we have carried out. Please feel free to contact the owner if you have any disability access questions, including airlines and wheelchair/scooter issues, as we both have disabilities ourselves, we understand the concerns that you might have when traveling abroad.

Spacious rear garden with large, private pool and sun loungers. Private terrace with patio table and chairs, large umbrella and BBQ. Newly fitted retractable awning. 2 tennis racquets and balls and football for visitors use.

Conditions
A £150 per week reservation fee is taken at the time of booking. The balance of the rent plus a security deposit of £250 is payable eight weeks before travel. Assuming no damage occurs, the deposit will be returned within fourteen days of the end of your visit.
Welcome packs can be provided for a small fee.

The Costa Calida region
Situated within the Murcia region on the Costa Calida, so named for its warm climate.
20 mins by car to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mar Menor, an enclosed "sea"of warm water, never more than 7 metres deep. A plethora of water sports are available from diving to wind surfing and outside the Mar Menor, in the Mediteranean proper, you can watch the kite surfers almost every day of the year.
Murcia city is within 20 mins drive and is a beautiful, bustling city with both historic buildings including its famed Cathedral and a wealth of modern shopping experiences.
Locally, Sucina, a 5 min drive, has all your grocery requirements covered and various restaurants & bistros
The Peraleja Golf area
Peraleja Golf is a low density, luxury development of only 180 individual villas set around an 18 hole, 6250metre, par 72 golf course designed by the great Severiano Ballesteros.
Piano Bar and stunning Clubhouse, cater for all tastes - from morning coffee to a snack lunch to a gourmet dinner. From the balcony of the 2nd floor restaurant, you can take in the magnificent vistas across the golf course, the original La Peraleja finca and on to the Mar Menor strip. Fabulous golf changing facilities and a well-stocked Pro shop are also contained within the Clubhouse. Bounded by national parkland, there is plenty of wildlife, from rabbits to herons, to watch of an evening.

The nearest airport is Murcia/San Javier which is only a 15 min drive away. Alicante airport is a very straightforward 50 minute motorway drive.
Low cost, but reliable, high quality car hire can be found through www.carjet.co.uk or www.cartrawler.com. Alternatively, for a modest charge, you can be met at the airport and driven to the villa.

May 14th-21st 2012 This was our second holiday at the villa in this lovely part of Spain and once again we had a fantastic time. The villa is a very comfortable home form home with all the mod cons. We were able to sit out on the patio each day (sunny and warm every day) taking in the views and the sun. The heated pool was great as we were able to take a dip whenever the fancy took us. The villa is situated in a golf complex so if you are a keen golfer it is a superb facility on your doorstep. For those who don't play golf, the villa is only a few minutes drive to the local town of Sucina which has a number of good restaurants. There are many other lovely towns and natural forests via quiet and well maintained roads making easy driving. We especially enjoyed visits to Cartagena, Murcia and the superb Cabo de Palos. Overall it was a wonderful week. |

Great Location, close to airport. Lovely Villa with all mod cons. Warm, private pool. One mile from quaint little town (Sucina) with good restaurants. Great for discovering Murcia, Mar Menor. I don't play golf but don't let that put you off, perfect for peaceful break. Well recommended |

Given the time of year, we could not have had better weather nor a better location. The villa has everything anybody could possibly want to make the best of a short, or long break. The heated pool offers a relaxing setting to enjoy the sunshine and to cool off, which you will need to do, and the patio has a handy awning which provides shade for the outdoors eating area, something we seldom need in Scotland.... Inside the villa, all mod-cons are provided from state-of-the art appliances, to UK TV, a superb sound system and wi-fi access. The beds are firm and comfortable, so no problem getting a good night's sleep. Cleanliness is of a very high standard, with regular cleaning of the villa and the pool being undertaken. The surrounding area has many varied places to visit, including safe and clean beaches within a short distance. Whether you are a golfer or not, the golf course is a great backdrop to the development, and provides excellent food and reasonably priced drinks. The newly reopened Tapas Bar at the Equestrian Centre is a short walk away, and the new managers are passionate about the quality of food and wine that they offer. This is possibly the best value in the area, and virtually on your doorstep. Have I missed anything out......? I don't think so, and neither did the owners who were keen to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We'll be back....hasta la vista! |

We loved the villa - everything was perfect both inside the villa and out and we wanted for nothing. When we were not basking in the sun by the pool we had some lovely trips out. We visited La Manga, Murcia, Cartagena and Caravaca de la Cruz as well as travelling to see the flamingoes at the salt flats. All in all we had a great time. Once again your villa was just perfect. I have to say we were very impressed, the rear aspect in my opinion is an excellent selling feature and we spent a good deal of time in the garden/pool, we took full advantage of the tennis courts as well. In short the villa was fantastic. The location was good in the respect that it was unknown and therefore still somewhat Spanish and cheaper than more touristic places. My kids loved the pool and I would seriously consider going back next year. Mr & Mrs G & family, Milton Keynes

Villa is excellent and would highly recommend it to anyone with a disability. No access difficulties at all in the villa or surrounding area at all. With a car many local attractions are easily accessed due to the villas' close proximity to major road networks. La Manga, Murcia and the surrounding mountain areas were fabulous experiences. We had a fantastic holiday and the villa was excellent and a great place to relax - very comfortable and well equipped. In particular the awning made it possible for us to sit in shade and also eat meals at the outside table.
