The West Country / Cornwall region

The most Westerly market town in mainland UK, Penzance has much to offer. A comprehensive shopping centre with a diverse range of galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Penzance is now on a par with St Ives for it's arts culture, with many art galleries and the recent addition to the town of 'The Exchange' gallery. As a very large number of renowned artists live and work - indeed gain their inspiration - in Penwith, it is certainly making Penzance a sought after holiday destination.

Steeped in delightful architectural buildings with all the history to go with it and enjoying one of the longest promenades in England, Penzance is fast becoming known for its individuality, magical scenery and generally mild weather - although it is a pretty spectacular experience to watch the occasional storm!
Centrally located to visit many places - Lands End, Portcurnoe- home to the famous Miack Theatre -, St Ives, Cape Cornwall, The lizard - the list is endless

Penzance area

Just a short walk away will find you plenty of sea bound attractions, diving, surfing, boat rips, fishing trips and even day trips to the Isle of Scilly. There are numerous walks and mountain bike rides taking in our glorious coastline and you will find plenty of local attractions for the family and children.
