Very pretty, a gorgeous little gem, beautifully appointed and located on a stunning and secluded private estate just minutes away from one of the best beaches in Cornwall. A former cart shed to the Alsia Mill Estate, The Studio has been completely renovated for the ensuing season and has been transformed into a fabulous little bolt hole for a couple who just want to get away from it all, kick off their shoes and relax in a tranquil and simply enchanting setting. Decorated in a soft pastel palette of white and truffle, this charming property has been thoughtfully appointed to maximise the amount of space available. The Studio benefits from a south facing aspect with a private patio area which is drenched in the sun for most of the day. In addition, bi-fold doors have also been installed so that when they are folded back, it opens up the entire front of the property creating an open plan footprint and a very spacious feeling to this unique and spellbinding little property. The addition of electronic (remote controlled) velux windows in the ceilings provides additional light throughout the property and you can even lie in bed at night and watch the stars! The estate is privately owned and comprises of The Studio, The Barn (which can also be rented alongside The Studio for a total of four guests), a Grade II listed water mill and the main house which are not rented. The properties are surrounded by 4½ acres of grounds comprising of lawns, trees, shrubs and streams crossed by a number of foot bridges and access to the estate is via a ford. Guests are positively encouraged to wander and enjoy the grounds but asked to respect the privacy of other guests. Alsia Mill is located twixt Sennen Cove and the village of St. Buryan, both of which are literally a few minutes drive away in either direction. Sennen Cove and its fabulous mile and a half of white sand is a surfing Mecca and a must for a relaxing day on the beach. The quaint Cornish village of St. Buryan has two convenience stores (one is also a Post Office), an antique shop, a garage and a locals' pub serving good honest Cornish produce and local beers. The world famous Minack Theatre is a ten minute drive as is the spectacular Ped-n-Vounder beach. Despite the wonders of digital photography, it is impossible to capture the essence of this fabulous little property and to convey the beauty of its location – you just have to book it and experience it for yourself!
