Located in the very heart of this much sought after and famous Cornish valley, Crest of the Wave is a beautifully appointed and spacious holiday home which benefits from a south facing aspect, a private garden and parking for several cars. Situated on the ground floor of a three storey property, this recently refurbished apartment has three good sized bedrooms, an open plan living space and a new kitchen for the ensuing season. Doors from the lounge lead to a small patio area – ideal for that early morning cup of coffee in the sunshine or a well earned cold beer after a hard day on the beach! There is also a large lawned area for additional sunbathing or for the younger guests to let off some steam! Crest of the Wave is but a five minute stroll from Porthcurno beach which is consistently voted as one of the top ten best beaches in the world by travel writers (Sunday Times) and the public alike. At low tide it is possible to walk the entire crescent of Ped-n-Vounder beach to the famous Logan Rock peninsula, a stunning stretch of beautiful golden sand and turquoise blue water. Porthcurno is also home to the world famous and iconic Minack Theatre, a spectacular 750 seat auditorium hewn from the granite cliffs. This wonderful open air venue stages a variety of theatrical productions every year between May & September ranging from The Tempest to The Lion King and is within easy walking distance from the property. The valley is also steeped in history being the site of Marconi's first transatlantic cable calls and is home to the underground Wartime Telegraph Museum – a must for adults and children alike! A short distance from the apartment is a local pub which serves good food, two tennis courts, a small café which serves delicious cream teas and crab sandwiches! – The traditional and award winning Logan Rock Inn at Treen is a five minute drive or a 20 minute cliff walk for the more adventurous! Crest of The Wave is an ideal home as it is perfect for those guests who wish to park the car for a week and enjoy the spectacular locality or for those guests that wish to combine a beach holiday with a few days touring around the Land's End peninsula.
