Stylish and Chic are the only words to adequately describe this beautifully appointed and enchanting little cottage that is located in the very heart of this ancient Cornish fishing village and yet is only a stone's throw from the harbour. Dating back to the middle 1800's, Gulls Nest was originally the home of a Master Mariner and externally, very little has changed to this end terrace property. However, after a careful and thoughtful renovation programme by the present owners, the interior of the cottage has been completely transformed to create a fabulous holiday home that combines 21st century living with numerous little reminders of its elegant past.

The use of a white decorative palette and neutral soft furnishings throughout ensures that all of the rooms have a wonderful feeling of space and light. Black Granite worktops in the kitchen, slate floors on the ground floor (with under floor heating), original polished floorboards in the bedrooms, white painted beams, a wood burning stove in the lounge and an exquisite roll top bath in the bathroom complete the final look. To the rear of the cottage is a pretty little courtyard which catches the afternoon sun and is therefore perfect for that Cornish cream tea with lashings of clotted cream!

Mousehole is one of the finest examples of an archetypal and picturesque Cornish fishing village. The labyrinth of tiny alleyways and little lanes hide a plethora of galleries and craft shops just waiting to be discovered. In recent years, Mousehole has gained an enviable reputation as a gastronomic destination with three exceptionally good restaurants serving some of the finest fresh fish and seafood in the world. Gulls Nest is an all year round destination whether you are lazing on the golden beach in the harbour during the summer or watching the mighty Atlantic waves as they crash over the breakwater in the winter!
