Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6

As soon as you enter the garden of this pretty -chocolate box- Cornish cottage, you are immediately enveloped with a sense of peace, tranquillity and memories of a bygone era. Dating back over 150 years, Treveth nestles into the side of one of the most picturesque and ancient coves in West Cornwall and offers stunning rural views across the valley floor. Your first visual impression of the cottage and its charming gardens is that somehow, it has managed to resist the march of change over the years since its completion in 1850. Whilst the interior of the property has been furnished to a very comfortable and modern standard for today's discerning guest, it is bursting with character including low beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove (fuel not included), exposed granite walls, sloping floors and pretty cottage windows. The enclosed little garden is well stocked with shrubs and small trees and benefits from a south facing elevation. Treveth is a short stroll from both the local pub and the Lamorna Cove Hotel which has a spectacular decked balcony overlooking the valley - perfect for that early evening Gin and Tonic! The Cove - which is still privately owned - continues to attract a broad church of visitor who is drawn to this stunning valley to indulge in numerous activities such as Scuba diving from the harbour, walking the breathtaking cliff top paths, fishing from the breakwater, touring the spectacular west coast peninsula or just meandering through the wooded valley which is a carpet of bluebells in the early spring.
