The West Country / Cornwall region

The West Cornwall coastline stretches out to the north and south along great ridged cliffs, while the stony spine of the peninsula drifts its way eastwards through an landscape of rugged moorland, abundant woodland and picturesque, timeless villages.
During your stay, the following attractions are highly recommended:-
Land’s End, the most westerly tip of the southern British mainland, is sited around 9 miles from Mousehole. Another attraction nearby is the Minack Theatre, an open air theatre, set into the cliffs, only 4 miles from Land’s End!
Flambards, Established over 30 years ago as the Cornwall Aircraft Park, the Flambards Experience is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cornwall. Not only does the Theme Park host the best thrill rides in Cornwall, but also the Flambards Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz and Memory Lane exhibitions as indoor visitor attractions.
The Eden Project – an environmental complex containing plants from the rainforests and the warm temperate regions of the world.
Not only having the beaches in Mousehole itself, the coastline has many more charming beaches, such as Sennen Cove, Marazion, St. Ives and Porthcurno to name a few.
The Penzance / Mousehole area
Mousehole was described as "the prettiest village in England" by Dylan Thomas as he spent his honeymoon here, Nestling on the east coast of Cornwall.
With the sea on one side, and beautiful countryside on the other. A picturesque village, its narrow cobbled streets, blind alleys and granite cottages giving it a unique character. Within the harbour itself, two sandy beaches offer a safe, relaxing place for the family to enjoy.
For those wishing to explore, there is a charming coastline containing pebbled beaches and rock pools full of wildlife.
Mousehole has several small shops including a newsagents, grocers and post office. It also has a fine selection of craft and gift shops and even a small art gallery. There is a choice of tearooms, restaurants and a fish and chip shop and two pubs. There is also a chapel and the famous hospital for wild birds. A regular bus service runs from Mousehole to Penzance (3 miles away) where there is a main line rail and coach link.
Every Christmas, the harbour is famously decorated with a spectacular display of lights. As well as the harbour, the surrounding pubs, shops and houses are decorated and the illuminations extend up the road leading out of Mousehole to the South. The display starts on the 16th December and continues to the end of the first week in January. The lights are switched on at 17:00 and are turned off at 23:00.
