You can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, rambling, and surfing to name but a few in the local vicinity. With the coastal path and cycle way running past the door this is the ideal spot for a relaxing ‘car-free’ stay (secure, covered parking space provided). At the front of the properties is a beautifully planted, enclosed, walled courtyard with a shared access path (security gate at each end), off which is each cottages front door.

The Cornwall region

West Penwith or 'The Land's End Peninsular' is situated in the far South West of Cornwall and is arguably the most picturesque area of the country. The Peninsular has diverse land and seascape with hidden sandy coves some of which are only accessible by scrambling down rocky cliff paths. It boasts long golden beaches, ancient moorland, rolling farmland, shipwrecks and sunken treasure. Lands End is a stone's throw away with its rugged cliffs and tales of mystery and buried treasure. The far west of Cornwall enjoys one of the mildest climates in the country which makes it a perfect getaway all year round.

Penzance

Penzance is a busy market town and boasts a variety of great bars, restaurants and cafe's. Located within easy reach are the city of Truro and the sailing capital Falmouth. If it's surfing or sunbathing you're after or perhaps a romantic walk along a deserted beach, then you can are spoilt for choice with some of the area's best beaches on your doorstep such as Sennen, Praa Sands and Porthcurno. The Eden Project is also only a 45 minute drive away.

The famous St Michael's Mount (described as the jewel in Cornwall's crown) and Lanhydrock House are located close by or you may chose to take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly on 'The Scillonian'. The terminal and ticket office is just a short stroll from the holiday homes.

A particularly enjoyable and picturesque train journey is from Penzance via St Erth to St Ives. Once a small fishing village, St Ives has grown to become one of the most famous & popular seaside towns in Cornwall.

There is so much to do and see in this special part of Cornwall whether it be walking along the miles of coastal paths, surfing, dolphin or whale spotting, bird watching, rambling, cycling, relaxing on one of the many stunning beaches, visiting the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno or the myriad of art galleries – there is something for everyone.

"A very quite place in the center"

It was a very good place to stay. The utilities in the houses were good. The staff of the management office were very nice.

"A beautiful trio of houses in Cornwall.. What a find!"

Our usual bunch decided to organize a get together in Cornwall this year as opposed to the usual choices. And we couldn't have made a better choice! We rented these three beautiful houses, which had everything you could ever expect, and could have stayed indoors quite happily had we not been enticed by the lovely local walks nearby.

As a group, it offered us the opportunity to spend time together and yet have our own space at once and we alternated hosting dinner on some nights! The weather was "autumnal" as expected although it wasn't a real hindrance, but I would seriously consider coming back in spring/summer with my partner or with the others again. It was well organized and the customer service was second to none, we couldn't have asked for better.

In summary, a wonderful location, wonderful accommodation and a wonderful excuse to get away for a bit with friends and an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. I would definitely recommend a stay here. What a find!
